TTJ was well on his way to becoming the good person LSS wanted him to be --learning from her compassion on the firecrackers lady , and being emperor of a once sick country, he now knows how to be compassionate to the sick and the poor. He said it so sincerely that LSS really could have confessed everything right then and there her mission.... but darn NBY and his unwelcome timing. (I love NBY, but not at that moment)

...with of course foxy PR and YQY having their romantic moment on the rooftop as well😍❤️ YQY of course being worried that he is just mortal, living to at most 100 years (barring death in the battlefield, of course--come on, how confident YQY is with his skills?🤣), but when PR playfully answers she'd just drink wine and find another man, surprisingly, YQY brightens at that and is okay with that??? =sigh= this guy...

Had to pause and just savor the entire Qixi festival with these lovebirds... LSS's trauma and dilemma showing up as she and TTJ were selected by the shaman to be the goddess and the Devil God ---foreshadowing much?---

One of my favorites as well, and because of the same scene.. It's one moment where I felt for TTJ's whole tragedy and felt relief that at least he found his happiness in LSS, no matter how brief each moment was.

LSS and TTJ strolling through the stalls at the Qixi Festival... when they bought those demon masks, it really reminded me of that scene in Scarlet Heart Ryeo, with IU and Lee Joong Gi.

LSS and YBC having a sisterly talk. LSS tries to convince YBC to visit home, but BC reasonably answers she can't as she's going to be seen as a widow. Little does LSS know, YBC plots for a better position than her sister (who's TTJ's legal wife, btw🙄), who she thinks is more beloved than her --with good reason🙄

She wants to be more useful to TTJ ---by sending a coded letter to Xiao Lin😭💔
After that dream convo with her human self, YBC seems to fully embrace the demon in her already. =sigh=

Ye Zeyu, Father, and Grandma Ye all noticing LSS"s bright spirits, with Zeyu hitting the mark at guessing she and TTJ made up. Father Ye still worried about LSS being treated badly in the palace now that TTJ is emperor, but cheeky LSS answers she made TTJ sleep on the floor🤣 I love our empowered sisters!🤣

Honestly made me think, which lover would I want better, YQY or TTJ?🤣🤣🤣 am I slowly turning into Team YQY this time around??😅 Ladies, whatchatink?

We pick up where we left off -- Pian Ran looking and finding Ye Qingyu. (still annoyed by the sudden ends of each episode, btw, but wellll) YQY figures out that she approached him for the antidote to her "poison" only to find out that TTJ had been playing her all along🤣

They talk about that night, and YQY adorably confesses his love for her, which isn't to tether her to him. (aww) PR finally says "What if I stay?", which YQY at first is confused about, but PR clarifies with a cheeky "Depends on your performance"😅
