just reached ep 8, i didnt expect myself to enjoy this series especially I dropped a lot of cdrama with over cutesy FL because I couldnt stand their voice, but here it doesn't bother me at all, is just perfect fit with her character and she totally grows on me! I also read a lot of isekai manhwa so this one is such a fun story, I am glad they approach more for comedic route, this balances my stress from other airing dramas I watch now 😂👌🏻

agree, killing 90% of the original squad is such a bad move imo :/ i honestly don't have interest with duanwu's current company so it is hard for me to get invested the on going conflict in their shop. i wish at least they give more depth into yue yun xiu's character as she is important character for "pearl girl" shop, like write more scenes of her talent, her knowledge about jade or the past struggle with her dad.. but nothing so far.

not yet, we get some little conflict between 13-15 after new character ( ZQY ) show up, but it is still bearable. based on the preview, they might finally get together after ep 17. comedy depends on preferences, but i find it funny.

you are not the only one 😂 i have to turn up my screen brightness to max so i can watch it better. people said it is the "mood" they are going for, dark dreamy color grading to suit the story. but damn it is too dark and it is too dimmed out, at least make a good contrast with lighting. Other than the colorgrading, same i really like the story and characters + osts are so good.
