While the whole casts made this amazing characters and story comes into life but I must say the latest ep 36 left a big impact for me. it is clear Jinzhen presence is the one that made me stay through the plots. She succeed on making emotional attachments with me. When Mr. Xu said Jinzhen had the strongest faith, that is true to the core. Her solid stance strike my view for the story, with her gone, I don't look foward for the ending.

Yesterday I replied to a comment about a possible S2 and how I didn't mind waiting for years. Yeap, I took my words back for now, I am not longing for their future stories anymore. 😊💥

SAME I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS DEVASTATED OVER CHARACTER'S DEATH. i have seen people losing interest over story after their fav character's death, and im currently in that situation, my first time ever feeling this devastated, it hits me im really that attached to shen jinzhen. i actually dont care anymore for tomorrow, i need a break to grief. 😭

I SIGNED UP FOR LI QIN'S DRAMA, of course her character wont get a perfect happy ending 😭😭😭😭 i know her death is coming, there is so many foreshadow hinting she will die helping people and she really died saving a child. now im just mad mad at lin qiao song fuck i hope he meet miserable end amongst all.

omgg yass 😭 4 ep is definitely not enough to cover up everything and it will probably end in a cliff hanger as they are still far from the most main historic event. im okay to suffer waiting a few years for s2 as long as they pinpoint every important event.

There are indeed dozen story showing hitting as slapstick comedy and i hate it too. Though for Niu Chunmiao, i still see it as part of her character and her bond with Ruolai, not as a comedic relief. Her habit is still a bad thing as you mentioned, I am glad Jinzhen notice and always ask her to stop. Let's hope she tone it down and learn a lesson soon.

For STN, i always hate his one sided view on lower class while yelling "it is for the country". He screams ✨ hypocrisy ✨ from the start and he goes down down soon. 🎶 playing kokobop 🎶 ( i still hope for a good ending for every main characters though )
