If Hollywood is synonymous with success today and follows this supposed woke agenda, and Asian countries want this soft power from Hollywood and the US, it will have to sell these films to the whole world, and selling to the whole world is subject to criticism.

I wonder if, when western countries make movies and series with Asian stereotypes, If Asian people like them?

I imagine so, after all, China is almost competing with the US for world dominance, but what I meant was that if one day they made those cultivation novels, such as Immortality or Mo Dao Zu Shi (The Untamed), uncensored, they would have to spend more to make them good.

The worst part is that Chao Planoy is apparently a lesbian, so they stop buying her novels and replace her with heterosexual female writers, which has nothing to do with the viewer, but ends up reducing representation.

On Twitter (x) the other day, people were saying that the cheap BL from China overshadowed the one from ZeeNunew. Who would have thought that 2025 would be the year of China?

God forbid, GMMTV makes one good BL series a year, and several actors are sidelined.
