You're right, I can't tell you how many times I've read on this site, people saying they don't care if the actor acts or not....ok someone's going to say that the znn don't either, but at least DMD is investing in the series in the script apparently and the two of them know how to kiss.

Apparently in Asia, there is this segmentation of the public, in other places like the US, to give an obvious example, there isn't, so people who, for various reasons that I won't go into here, don't like gay people, feel comfortable watching these stories that, for them, are a perfect world with only heterosexual people, weak hero seems to me to be a series for young people, I believe with a more modern mindset, so a lot of them were platonically rooting for the two protagonists to be boyfriends . The director probably thought that in fact many people were rooting for the two of them, but obviously there's that group of people I mentioned who feel comfortable and think it's great to exclude gays from Asia's so-called heterosexual series.
