And yes, I know the novel. However, I’m going to hope it is like my stand in and changed for the better. So much was left out and altered to be easier to digest and given that this is a PG 13 story, I’m assuming it is at least toned down. If it gets too much like the novel, I’ll be back to change my rating and opinion.

This is my first time seeing a Chinese/Thai/Taiwanese drama and I’m loving it so far! The actors are lovely, the sets and costumes are amazing, and the dialogue is both hilarious and frustrating. This is definitely going to be one I won’t wait to binge, I’m gonna need my fix weekly.
