I get what you mean and I love it too. It shows how he really studied his character through these little details, actually his microexpressions and the emotion in his eyes are also very evident too, he is not only handsome visually but he can really ACT the character and own it.

don't base on rating just watch it's really good I read the novel and they did justice to it also Bai Jing Ting acting as Sang Yan is on another level, Victor Ma did well in Hidden Love as Sang Yan but you have to take note, the Sang Yan we know in Hidden Love is only what Sang Zhi knows about him...parts of him but not his whole story this drama focuses more on his own story so we will get to know the 'real Sang Yan' not the Sang Yan version Sang Zhi knows.

Bai Jing Ting's acting never disappoint 🖤! he pulled off Sang Yan and i'm so convinced he is made for this role.

Only 6 episodes are out, there is more to come in the following episodes I read the novel and the love is not one-sided. You have to wait for more of the plot to come, but it's good if you drop it too if it is not your liking.
