Well said. I completely agree. The novel and drama are not for everyone and that's okay. Everyone has their own opinion. It's their loss. This drama actually shows the different strength in these women to overcome the hurdles in their lives but not everyone sees or understands that. Some of us love and appreciate it while others hate it.

They were following the novel. If you've watched other dramas of TSY or LGX you'll see it depends on the storyline. It's not that they can't do kiss/intimate scenes. That's not the direction of this novel.

Its for a long while but it ties into everything later.

After watching the spoilers on Weibo and uploading new photos of the drama. It's honestly bittersweet to say goodbye tomorrow. It's been a joy chasing the drama. It was worth the wait. They did a phenomenal job adapting the novel. The changes brought more strength and dynamics to the characters. Definitely one of the best slice of life drama in a while. I'll leave my in depth review tomorrow but so far its a 10/10.

Yes she dates someone else first. It follows the novel of the same name. Her and ML are at the end.

I know! I love the changes they made throughout the drama adaptation. LJM didn't drown at the lake, he was just sitting there fishing and said he wouldn't be irresponsible and commit suicide. YQ being strong and staring a new chapter, HYM not walking in the street almost getting hit by the car. These were just a few but it showed the strengths of the characters. I'm sad its ending tomorrow. It went by so quickly.

You are correct.

In the novel he finds out the pregnant girl was used him while he was in prison. She was actually already with his lawyer from the beginning. They intentionally got close to him. The pregnant girl hired a hitman on NM and the lawyer was involved too so they ended up locked up. When HYL did the DNA test the child was his. But he realized he gave up YQ for someone who just used him and was going nuts with regrets.

She'll move forward in the drama and HYL will get what's coming to him. 🙂

I've seen it on Weibo a few times before but who knows. Sometimes they just try to promote the drama and put her name in it to drive traffic. I saw one with her and SWL and another with ZXC.

They changed it which I'm glad they did. It was so tragic plus there isn't enough time to explain in depth all the things about depression like in the novel and how YQ's death impacted NM. The subtle changes they made to the supporting female characters have given them more strengths. Plus the scene with LJM at the lake is changed and HYM walking into the street is not in the drama. Instead it became about them working together. YQ in the drama is starting fresh and stronger than YQ in the novel. I also saw her in one of the last scenes so she'll be there for her & NM to continue supporting one another.

In the novel YQ commits suicide but in her suicide letter to NM she gives her a big clue that SWR is part of the group that took down LJM. Yes at the end her ex got he deserved. NM &LJM were successful taking down the villians.

Agreed. I understand where you are coming from. I watched 29 too and the spoilers on Weibo. Not sure if she will do both yet in the drama but she does establish LuMeng with LJM. I'm impressed with how much they've kept consistent with the novel. I think the subtle changes they made improved the storyline. Especially with only 32 episodes. The next 3 will be hugh in wrapping everything up. I'm glad YQ doesn't have the same tragic end.

Not sure how the drama will adapt or address it but in the novel she does both. Help LJM start a company together LuMeng and stays at Eagel. Later on when SY leaves to go aboard. NM is in charge. NM doesn't give up her dream. She is not LJM's secretary. They are partners. She will continue to be an investment director. She didn't give up on her dreams. 3 more episodes to go.

Honesty, most of the rumors sound great. Her and LX in the legal drama would be different. There's suppose to be mystery and crime solving in the story. RJL and TSY had amazing chemistry in UTP so anything with the two of them has high anticipation. There's rumor about her and Yang Zi. I like them both and I think it would be great to see them work together. I heard the LYF rumor as well. With all the crack down and restrictions now you are right. We won't find out until they start shooting. I agree Flight will probably be another big hit.

I know! Me & @seventan where talking about it. Most of the rumors on Weibo were all good so if any of them really are true I would be happy. We'll probably find out shortly after her bday.

It's hard for some ppl but that's not the focus of the novel & drama. It's about her journey & determination to achieve her goal while sticking to her principles. Only 5 episodes left and then we'll have to wait for Flight to You in Q4 for more Song Song.

🍋 NM has finally worked her way from the little secretary to investment director. Keep working hard NM. The drama has adapted the novel beautifully while making subtle changes that have improved the storyline. I can't wait for the last 5 episodes. 💛
