was feeling depressed thinking this only had 12 episodes.. glad its back to the traditonal 16 episode format. Although I would've loved if it had been extended further, the time jump in ep 9 seemed so jarring!! I wanted to see at least some of Haejun and Sanha's life during those 10 years
already sobbing during the scene of dad & haejun in ep3.... I love their relationship, also what part of Korea are they in?? the accents are quite strong especially Haejun lol
I DO NOT PLAN TO WATCH THIS DRAMA CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHAT YOU MEAN PLEASE ðŸ˜
Ok so ML's dad died in a fire, and his mom left, leaving him an orphan around his early teen years. His dad still owed a lot of money to the landlord, so now ML inherits all this debt. His landlord offered to get rid of all his debt, pay for his college tution, and give him a place to stay, on1. condition: he would take care of her when he gets older. She also lived with 4 other older female friends (all single women). As the years go by, all of them get close and become a family, so now ML grew up with 5 mother-figures in his life that he still lives with and feel indebted to care for, like any real son and mother would. The main crux of this whole drama is how the FL desperately wants to get married to ML, but ML has always rejected it (this leads to their eventual breakup and subsequent DID with our FL), we don't find out why ML doesn't want to get married until ep 6, the reason was bc he didn't want to place a burden on FL to also take care of his 5 mother figures.
wasn't sure how I was feeling about the plot but after I saw the chemistry between the leads in their poster shooting vid, im all in... just need to wait a couple more weeks
