This has such high ratings but I've never watched/read omegaverse ever, though I have watched a lot of BL. Honestly worried I won't know what's going on 😭Need some second opinions
I feel like a lot of people are taking the show too seriously, and I don't mean this in a rude way. We have to remeber a few things;
- We see up to two hours each episode, while they were there for 24 hours a day. - Regardless of what they tell the audience about their stories and experiences during the show, none of us know these people personally -These types of shows are edited to make them more dramatic and interesting, to draw people in, bits could be filmed and then pieced together during editing to make someone mess with reputations.
I love watching this show. I lock in, and regardless of the situation I try to understand everyone here has a reason for what they say/do. I really feel like many viewers of these dating shows get so immersed as if they're in the house, or even part of the relationship. It happens every season.
We don't know if any of these people are here to fall in love, or be in front of a camera.
I really feel like in order to enjoy the show to it's best, watch without the intent to judge the people or relationship they were in. For me, I find that it makes the show fun to watch, and I can focus on the storyline and the goofy moments.
Just a suggestion! Especially for anyone new to the show or dating shows in general. (:
Watching this almost convinced me that I was the problem here, and it wasn't that I was watching a drama that feels like half of the scenes accidently got deleted and they still aired the show.
Also if that was my roommate, I'd be feeling like I'm in danger, not swooning.. but, everyone's different ig lmao
Maybe I'm a minority here, but I have a lot of respect for this series and everything they did to create it. I…
A couple of my biggest critiques:
1. Calvin and Jay- Either make their story good or give them a separate series and leave them out of this one of you won't be able to show their full potential. While I like Calvin's character that clearly suffers from social anxieties, all they really did was talk flirtaciously a few times and suddenly they're in love? I mean come on, this isn't middle school. I know the two have good chemistry and I hope they get a series they really shine in together.
2. Ramil- Clearly a troubled and flawed character, he played it well. But his relationship with his dad- did anyone else notice how easy it was for him to cut relations with his dad? I understand he was a victim of domestic abuse and that severely alters his character, but if it was really that easy to just cut his dad off as a dad completely, he should've rebelled when he was asked to step on the love of his life's face...? But, idk, it's objective.
3. All the yearning and deep rooting NC lovemaking scenes compared to THAT proposal scene makes it look so sloppy. It almost felt like Khanin was wanting Charan to open up to him so much, and then he does completely and... now he looks like he's reluctant to even say yes. The show was beautifully directed, but this scene had potential to be 100, and it was a solid 30 at best.
So yea, I agree with a lot of the comments criticizing the series, but setting the above aside, I think it really was beautiful, and I enjoyed watching it.
Maybe I'm a minority here, but I have a lot of respect for this series and everything they did to create it. I loved Ava, and would've loved to see more of her, but I do understand the story is mainly a BL, and her role still left an impact on me imo. I especially found myself fawning over how beautifully directed each scene was. The scene with the horse particularly comes to mind. Some is spoilers so I'll write a second comment.
Everyday I watch every ad I can for Dongdong, I hope so bad he ends up in debut lineup. An all rounder that speaks multiple languages, is very kind, works well with others, and imo he is so good looking.. he caught my eye back in bp too. PLEASE consider voting for Dongdong
I just noticed this series is ending. How was it? It’s been on my list to start.
I'm on ep 14 and I like it more than expected. IMO, Johan and North couple take the cake but you have to wait a few eps for their story to start. Hill is corny asf if you can handle that LMAO he's not an annoying character though. Tbh I came thinking there would be 4 couples, and there's only 2. But it is good. I'd give it a try. Esp for Johan and North
Yea tbh I dropped after taeyu and Hyunjae got eliminated... I just knew it wasn't going to be a proper lineup.…
This!! Literally most of the best rappers in the show and they eliminated them like.. I was just done atp. I was gonna watch Universe League when this was over anyway but from what it seems, it’s just a better show overall so 🤷♀️ just gotta get caught up
how the hell are they going to fit two eliminations plus another performance that we are voting for rn in just…
right... now its 2 eps left, which will include a whole vacation day, performances, eliminations AND somehow the debut lineup finale? Atp the last two eps are gonna have to be 4hrs long each instead of 2.. like HOW does all that fit into two episodes
When I first read the synopsis for this I was,, confused to say the least but the trailer was intiguing so when it came out I started watching it. But man it is unbearable (TO WAIT FOR NEXT EPISODES, I NEED MORE). Their relationship is so gentle and soft and beautiful. This is only ep 5, and if they manage to get rid of/away from those freaks, I'm so excited to see where their relationship will go. Sun might've been a predatorial animal, but (I'm guessing bc of what he's gone through) he is so protective of Junior. I just adore them. Ben and Jay are honestly delivering for younger actors.

I know it wraps up well I will watch it
