I would say this is pretty different from the other HIStory series. Wayne's acting and lines in last episode was heart wrenching.
Let's just believe that they Yu and Hao are living happily ever after in an alternate reality. I re-watched the ending of Life: Love on Line (a Japanese BL) where they made a cameo. It helped alleviate the sadness since I get to see them happy together
This is really good. Satisfying ending too. I have been watching mostly korea, taiwan at japan BLs but decided to go back to watching thai BLs again because this one was done really well. Not the usual story. Ost was also good. I usually skip the songs but I didn't mind listening to the ost on this series.
Main leads are just so damn fine too. They have so many close up shots and their skin are glowing. I wish I was as pretty lol
They came up with their fandom name (Kupao) only towards the end of the series. So I feel they are planning to have season 2. I don't think they would bother with a fandom name if they have no projects together in the future.
I watched it for Simon Gong. I think it's entertaining since I managed to finish 30eps. The story is so-so. Too many plot holes. However, the cast looks great and chemistry is good.
It's like in between bromance and BL. It either got me really excited or frustrated at times. Some scenes seriously have no straight explanation but you won't get the satisfaction of straight up confession as well.
It's pretty much a story of 3 best friends. Xia Yao who loves his supposed to be brother in law. Da Yu who became a sugar daddy to a boy he picked up from the streets. Peng Ze who hired a boy toy to get a girl but ended up liking boy toy more than the girl.
I also think Da Yu and Xia Yao liked each other in the past. So there's some "brotherly" love triangle going around
Right. I agree, like we have had so many shows that have shown way worse than what these BL shows shows. Hell,…
If it's not your preference, you are not required to watch it. There's even warning at the start of each episode about the sexual content. However, do not expect that all BL shows must adhere to your standards. Its content rating here is for 15 and up. It's not a kids show. Again it's not real. Also it's not the only show wherein this happened.
I seriously don't understand why people expect and want BL series to always be politically and morally correct. I mean there are shows about murder, war, assassins and thieves but we still enjoy them. These are make-believe stories. They are just acting. If you're an adult and think you should mimic immoral things because you saw it on a series, there is something wrong with you and not the series.
This is a really good series. History keeps getting better every new season. The visuals and chemistry of the actors are off the roof. Plus points for all the fan service they are giving us.
I watched the prequel before this so seeing what happened to their relationship hurts more. The prequel is a feel good movie and this is like a slap of reality. It was an emotional roller coaster. Something that I usually get from watching Japanese BLs. The feeling of love and sadness tends to linger after watching the series.
It has an open ending. However, my interpretation is that it's more of a happy ending. 1. They smiled upon seeing each other. Their facial expression was different from before. 2. Nan was not close with Chunzi. Why do you think he was there? Maybe to pick up Zhe? 3. Zhe didn't give an ending to his novel. He was still open to the idea of being with Nan. 4. They didn't look surprised seeing each other. If you unexpectedly meet an ex (especially your greatest love) after a few years, you'll probably be shocked, shy or awkward. They weren't. It suggests they've been in touch or are seeing each other.
Btw, I was surprised with the sex scenes. How was this not censored in China?
It wraps up the story. So I'm not expecting another movie or spin off. Quite sad with the ending though. I was rooting for Ruka and Haruto. Thought they looked better together than with Aoyama. Also felt bad for Takumi who got used and beat up.
I will miss this trilogy. Though it's not perfect, it is different and will leave you thinking about it after watching the film. It's not something easily forgotten.
I didn't know they released a 2nd movie until I was simping over the new cast member, Ruka (Cima). Man is a real pole dancer and is wonderfully toned. Takumi is also a nice edition.
I definitely prefer this over the first one. More sex and nastier too. Haha. You'd definitely need to watch the 3rd movie to understand the story

Zach Lu is a cutie.. and while watching I keep thinking that he really looks like those tall volleyball players I see. Haha
It's like watching a horror movie even though you're scared. Then getting upset and complaining that there's a ghost in the film.

This is a low budget drama but I fell in love with the characters and story. Much better than some newer series/movie with bigger budget.
Watch the uncut for the sauce. Kinda similar to how Japanese make their spicy scenes.

I hope I'll get to see the casts in other BLs.
