Ugh I feel the same. I will still continue watching but something feels off. The pacing, editing and acting for some of the actors aren't doing it. This was one of my most anticipated drama.

I like that solving the crimes is shown as collective work and not one is better than the other. Even when interrogating or going out to investigate, it's not always just the ML.

I liked her at first but then she just wouldn't take a hint & it's just annoying now.

True! With their history, there is more hope for YQ and CYM. I can't tell if CYM is just dating or is married to the one guy. I thought I saw "wife" but now I'm seeing her referred to as "mistress". At this point I can't even tell if CYM is undercover or not either. But it's keeping me on my toes and I like it. As for the side relationships, they just need to stop already 😄

From my observation, 1) forensic lady towards the chief 2) Zhao towards ye qian 3) SYL towards Zhao 4) I was starting to feel YQ towards CYM too but she might like him back? We will see.

I stopped relying on ratings here. There's some that's high ratings and I couldn't get into it or dropped. Watch a few episodes to know if it's your cup of tea or not! Enjoy!

I loved him in LoA but I don't think anyone can WKX except for GJ! I've rewatched both multiple of times when I miss seeing GJ!

I also prefer him in costume! The only modern one I liked was Rising with the Wind. Hoping his modern court one will be good.

The ashes they scattered are the parents of the suspect in the first case involving the family massacre. When the suspect was being taken away after his interrogation, he had asked YQ to take them to the ocean.

I'm not a big fan of both leads but just one episode in and I loving both of them!

Dropped at ep8. Couldn't stand the ML character and FL always just enabling him. Also not a fan of love triangle. Started off promising but got old pretty fast.
