This was so good, I liked it way more than LOFTG and I liked that show too. Ryan Cheng absolutely nailed his role, his best i have seen till now. People find 1-20 boring but idc I loved the romance between the characters and the mix of wuxia+fantasy. The last arc seemed a little weird but the plot points were tied up perfectly with a perfect ending. 10/10

my boss had nothing new basically, people who want instant gratification might find FF "slow" which is bs, the same people would say the godfather was slow too. Good things take time to build up. Only slight on FF is the 2nd ML's grandpa angle a lot of it was not even in novel, i would suggest u fast forward 2x on those or skip it altogether and you'll miss nothing. Like I said in another comment above, this is the best romance drama ever made //not teen girly cute love types but actual real life trauma, healing and unconditional love.

The best romance drama I have seen across 20+ languages and a few hundred shows. Nothing comes close. Everything was amazing with the leads. 9.9/10. Remove the dragging stupid 2nd ml grandpa angle and there's nothing more perfect.

lol comparing this to my boss should be a crime. Don't get me wrong i found my boss fun to watch but it was just another run of the mill idol drama. This is one of the best romance shows ever made in any language. May not be everyone's cup of tea as it's serious/trauma based and not childish like some of the other so called idol dramas, but this is the benchmark imo. Comparing my boss to first frost is like comparing a local street shop to a michelin star restaurant.

One of my first and most underrated dramas. Didn't drag much, both leads were fantastic and ost to die for.

How is this only a 8.5? It's seriously better than xianxias today 8 years later and much better than LAR. Every actor played their part perfectly, perfect story, cast, visuals, cgi. This is probably the best love story-xianxia ever made esp with a perfect ending. YZ was already known but also helped her career a lot, deng lun became a traffic actor only to be taken down by the scandal, LY definitely became a ML due to this show. I used to think LBFAD and MM are great but this is just the gold standard and most shows after took a lot of elements from this.
