Maybe for Marquis it is to me an ego thing coz they are the ones who caused his only lost battle in his life. For others, i thought it would be for power and control. I am glad production team did not overuse the past in this drama. Initially i thought ZH in jail with fire would showcase the memory but nope. And today's showcase was on point and delivered the purpose of evoking the law of "forget not the revenge" mantra. It is pitiful to live with only hatred and revenge in mind. Not able to enjoy life with love. I doubt his parents would wish that of him.
