I do think that Seokryu's rejection towards Seunghyo's feelings was quite brutal, but, if you try to keep an 'open…
Well written, it is like loving them to bear it all herself... yet she doesnt know quite yet this act to her may be what she thinks is best, but to others it is not. They wana be there for her to support her through and i can imagine they will regret if they didnt n if she was gone...
I love dramas that are realistic in a way because you can actually take away something from it and learn. This…
Yea! And now i looking forward having reporter story being unfolded, healing n restoration arc (hopefully they give us that) of leads, 2nd leads, main leads parents, even FL n bro...
I love your take and I agree that life is indeed a chaotic mess and this drama is so good at showing that.
🥰agree that this drama shows how real families are, from the onstart of the 4 ahjumma girlfriends, the drinking dads, trio bff, family strive that no others would know, struggles n the feeling of getting lost mid career ... these are so close to the heart!
Judging someone is not as black and white as you ppl make out to be. Yes there are lot of people who cant deal…
Agree with you. Was a carer before. It was mentally, physically, financially and socially draining. And he was probably the only person supporting her since family n close friends did not know. So the stress was on him alone. But... if as a fiancee he could not take the 1st round, then a 2nd failed try (coz it is not easy being a lifetime carer) would certainly be a double blow. As much as he bore the stress alone, he was also the only pillar she leaned on. And i do wander if she was not as bright, smiley n positive or put plainly recovered from depression, would he still pop that question again?
I am looking forward to the healing part of this drama🥰 good endings would not taste so sweet if not for these heartbreaks... prayerfully the end will be good😅🤣😂
I like how real this drama is. Simply chaotic mess.
This cancer arc brings me memories of a close friend who was diagnosed many years back for cancer. The news came out and in less than a year she was due to hold her wedding. She was confused and shocked. They had to postpone their wedding at the request of her coz of the multiple therapies n surgery that followed. Nonetheless, her fiance still chose to carry on with the wedding, and when asked why, he said because he wanted to be with her even though the time left might be short. And good news, now she is still alive and well happily married with a child...
Not everyone can be like this fiance who is willing to stand by his lover, before marriage, in sickness or in health, for better for worse. There are parents who even request pre marriage health clearance before giving their blessings!
Additionally, when she was first diagnosed, her mum hid in the hospital toilet screamed n brawled devastatingly. And for the first time, her dad cried n broke down his strong facade. This resonates with FL mum n dad where shock, sadnness and regrets all collide.
Chaotic mess but these are real.
The struggle n trauma is devastingly shattering for both patients and loved ones as carers. For patients the fear of death, not being able to be as independent as before, the physical pain, mental pain and list goes on... these not to be understated. Carers fear of losing their loved ones... the heart break and physical and mental draining to take care of patients, and to be someone else's strength. These not to be belittled, too...
This drama is indeed a chaotic mess. But isn't life this way? We will never know what is coming, and we need loved ones' support, a positive mind n strength n grace from above... it is very easy as onlookers to judge instead of empathise, to degrade one's weakness instead of standing into the big shoes they are wearing. A simple smile, a simple encouragement, a simple prayer or a simple presence may be what they need - just a glimmer of hope that if there isn't a tomorrow, strength is still available outstretched to them.
B4 completing episode 8, i wandered why SR was not telling family regarding her sickness ... after watching, could it be she doesnt want to burden her parents with yet another sick child😢 not telling her 2 bff was to me what i might do coz she was so far away and might not be regularly in touch... hence she chose to shoulder it all on her own and perhaps was good her fiance was taking care of her. Eh he had her records in hospital!!! I was like what??? Do u have it with you everytime???😅
And at a certain angle, i thought FL looked like Park Eun Bin.
tada ex!!!🤗🤗🤗 all the best!!!🤪🤪🤪
