Your call, but you're really missing out. This drama is phenomenal so far and the leads are fantastic.
I know. I'm torturing myself. I also avoid dramas that have that horrible cliche Disney vibe to it. I've missed out on a lot and I also dropped a few. I just dropped Ghost b/c the main lead had one glued expression on his face that annoyed me. Plus the plot was stupid.
The most frustrating thing about this drama is how SLOW it's been in airing eps! I've been waiting and waiting…
I'm a binger-I know it's not a word but I couldn't think of anything else and I agree. This is the first Kdrama that I had to stop watching until all the episodes are done. I'm on episode 13 but I have to wait till the last one is done so I can binge on the rest. I hate waiting. My patience skills sucks big time!
Oh gosh...when I saw who the main male lead was I decided to give this one a pass. His facial expression truly irked me in Designated Survivor. This is the second drama that have the categories that I like that I had to pass on due to the main male lead having that one glued expression on their face.
You did a lot better than me. I barely made it through the first episode. I tried to watch it but the plot wasn't there. I also have to look past the fact that majority of the people who gave this a high rank was because of how the main character looked. This is a huge eye roll for me. I wish people would just watch for the story line and not for the looks.
Well, it can be a matter of taste in some cases but a lot is just people not used to FLs that really break the…
I'm with you. I usually can't stand Korean female actresses because of how they're portrayed but I did like the main FL because she wasn't like the typical poor, love sick, stupid female that's always portrayed in these dramas. I did hate the fact that they had to throw in some sappy romance at the end though.
I agree. That part ruined it because it made the main character look weak. I mean when his mom died and he found out who was the culprit, that part had me smiling. But then when that chick got abducted I was like oh come on!!!
Ever since I seen him in Bad Guys I've been trying to find anything he's been in. I've only been watching Kdramas for close to a year now and I don't know who's famous in Korea. I've watched probably more than 20 Kdramas since June or July of 2020 and I've seen dramas with him in it and he's just awesome. I'm now happy to say I have a few favorite Korean actors on my list.
Have you seen the American series Leverage? If so and you liked that show then you'll love this.
I just saw that there's going to be a revival of this with 13 episodes. I'm excited about that. Noah Wyle is going to be in this? I haven't seen him in anything since he left ER. Now I'm puzzled because they said most of the cast will be returning. I hope it's the original 5 cast members.
"Beautiful Gong Shim began as a drama with infinite promise in the rom-com area. The two main characters are quirky and at first glance, you just expect a cute little romance that you can enjoy without much thought. I'll also point out that the first few episodes included some of the most ridiculously funny moments I've ever experienced in any drama, so my expectations were incredibly high as the rest of the episodes came out. "
Same here. But I did enjoy the whole series. Unfortunately this was one of the reasons why I am staying away from any rom-coms or romantic dramas. They've become an eye roll for me.
You should watch Fiery Priest. It's 40 episodes but every last one had some incredible funny scenes without the romance.
Uh-oh. I was excited to see a Korean remake of the US version. I, myself, have watched all 5 seasons of Leverage on numerous occasions. I love that show! Now that I see that you said it didn't impress you I'm scared to watch!
They did a remake of Criminal Minds which I've seen. That's the only show in the US that I have watched and didn't miss any episodes. The Korean version tried to imitate the US characters but didn't do a good job on that but I still liked it.
Have you seen The Player? It's like Leverage but it only have 12 episodes. You might like that one better.
I do like bromances. Just not like what I saw in this series.I don't know what BL means. Is it body language?I'm…
I will find that immediately after Ouroboros. I started watching this yesterday. Got interrupted so much I was able to finish episode two. Today I seriously binge and will get to Ultimate Note afterwards.

OK. I remember seeing a episode of Ultimate Note. I could barely watch the first episode. The English subtitles were off. I can't follow a series if I can't understand what's being said. I also saw trailers of Battle Through The Heavens & The Eight. I'm not into period pieces. The trailers didn't help but I'll give them a try. I just need to find these with better subtitles.

OK! Thank you for these recommendations! I'm watching Ourobros right now. When I'm done I will be watching the suggested dramas. I gotta get my Chinese and Japanese action dramas going. I haven't found any good ones yet...well Personal Body Guard was a good watch.

Thanks for that info. I like bromances but not BL-I learned something new today! I like when guys get along so well that I consider them to be like brothers.
So you're saying I should give it another go because of the fight scenes? I will do that because I love martial arts, MMA, boxing....any movie or series that have those three things in it I'm there!
I wish you would've given me a heads up about someone's mom returning to try to kill their kid though, lol!
