i think it is as slow burn as 12eps could allow. i am familiar with long cdramas and slow burns - i'd say WTPR has done a great job with pace and tension between the couple. no, the romance did not begin very early but chemistry did💓

both of them are so so good. i see many (incl. me) praising yys a lot without mentioning csb - i need to give her a whole lot of credits cause she deserves so much. like girl im not familiar with your game lol last time i saw her she was very young & was a support role in Love in the Moonlight (one of my all time faves). i am blown away by how good she has done + the sign language gosh she's super talented! they are match made in heaven on screen💕💕

i have not seen the whole performance. i just saw videos and pictures from twt, fb, and yt. i wish i could watch the whole play💗

not only his variety show, but i also checked out his theatre play (Hedwig) and many of his music works. what a talented, adorable, brilliant sense of humor man! i watched Dong Mae in Mr Sunshine and thought this japanese actor could have a long great career (lol) then i stopped paying attention. from now on i'm afraid i'm officially die-hard YYS's fan..

you are right, it contains just the right amount to not make viewers roll eyes. Then, with its quality, its able to draw us in and capture our hearts. Yeah i agree there have mostly been hit-and-miss kdramas. They often look good at first just to be disappointing later.. I have a good rec if you like costume cdramas; Melody of Golden Age is such a gem with a happy ending. Same 10-yr age gap like our SaJu hehe and same chemistry level.

WTPR is the only k-drama that pulls me away from my c-drama era lol i thought i was never gonna come back as k-dramas these days rarely interest me..
WTPR gives such old-school (2000s) vibes. It takes me back to when koreans were super corny and cliché but they were THE MASTER of corny and cliché.
I am gonna keep listening to the beautiful OSTs while waiting for the next EPs. If you can, wait until it's completed otherwise it might drive you crazy lol i feel so insane rn what have they done to me

just finished binge-watching and gonna leave proper review but heres a frequently asked spoiler just in case..
- pretty much green flag relationship
- no love triangle (villain is obsessed with fl but she likes him as a friend)
- sorta happy ending despite confusion
- steamy kisses / shirtless ml and bed scene yep
- but unfortunately cant feel chemistry between them :(

the first 2 eps are way too slow-paced. can anyone tell me when will the story go faster? i enjoy it so far tho i cant help but feel quite sleepy. the music is also lullaby-like haha

moreover, regarding the love triangle, it almost does not exist bcs she is so consistently in love with ML she doesnt waste time on 2ndML. i love her for that. i have seen too many FLs who were 'swayed' by 2ndML and it usually annoys me.

if you like fierce, mean-girl, full of actions and martial arts kind of FL, then it is not her :( but if you are ok with wide-eye, naive and brave, squishy and most importantly smart FL, then you should really watch it :) i personally like her a lot.

i really like Yuxi - this is my first time watching his drama😊

hmm not bad as long as he doesn't appear on screen much. i personally like FL haha i can understand why some/many would find her annoying but i've seen worse. i'm also biased bcs i find her adorable and i really like her vibe it's hard to explain. anyway i cant drop this now i've come too far and i'm too invested in the couple😭

this Pan Chi guy has started to annoy me already lol i have so low tolerance for this kinda stuff. He was like 'oh look at me i am her PENPAL and now she is MARRIED and i happened to hear a few sentences of gossip about her love life oh shit NOW I HAVE TO SAVE HER.' like wtf lol mind your own business?? so yeah here's the question: is this guy gonna become more annoying and how intense is the love triangle until our couple confess to each other?

I've reached ep12 and i love it so far, however, i am generally allergic to 2nd ML and love triangle, so here's a question below (a bit spoiler i think)

UPDATE: Many thanks to the person pushing me to continue. I just finished ep5 and now i know this show is gonna blow my mind lol i am now fully head over heels for Shen Du and his left eyebrow. I will give it a proper review once I complete it. What a super wonderful fantastic rare slowburn omg i love thissss
