considering there's been exactly one victim of each gender, i don't think you can make this statement yet? and…
yes, sure, but in this case, you can't make a statement about it because there's been one victim of either gender. the female victim is a main character and at least 1/3 of the show is from her pov. her trauma is depicted because we see the show from *her* perspective. the male victim is a side character and is treated as such, being seen only from the ml and sangah's perspective. we don't know his story because he's a side character. if there are other victims and only female victims are given space to tell their story, you can make that statement then, but as of now, we have nothing supporting it.
also, again, this is set in korea. female victims' pain isn't acknowledged anywhere, least of all in KOREA. female victims being empathized with "more" neither reflects nor reinforces their reality, so i'm not sure what you meant by that statement.
Sang-Ah or Yang-Mi? 𤨠Maybe Yang-Mi, but Sang-Ah, how?
?? isn't she a victim of his? she's very much shown to be traumatized bc of her experience w/ being trafficked, and she also tried to stop her labelmates from being trafficked as well
What I absolutely loathedāand itās a stigma that exists across industries and countries whenever stories like…
considering there's been exactly one victim of each gender, i don't think you can make this statement yet? and "Power structures do not discriminate in the way they exert control; they simply exploit vulnerability wherever it exists"?? gender is one of the main vulnerabilities in terms of risk of sex abuse??
it's not like female victims are taken seriously either, so it always makes me laugh when people start with the "normalizing sa against males" thing. they get exactly the same level of support, it's just that support happens to be zero for both. it's like you guys need male victims to be more validated than women or else you think males are especially discriminated against.
on episode 15 rn, and the aunt is so valid for not wanting to take care of a borderline corpse just because that's her husband's father. that's STILL a thing in asian cultures in 2026 and it's so stupid to expect women to prioritize and provide for their husbands' parents while separating them from their own family. this being set in medieval china, where she, as a wife, would have had zero rights, like tbh kill him!! idgaf. she's weird for terrorizing her niece, another woman, though.
wanting a woman to end up in a toxic / abusive relationship just because she isn't reciprocating the feelings…
you are a MALE. you need to be in JAIL. your breed commits 90% of rapes and murders and your wishing more of that on a woman because she's not as dickbrained as you want her to be? you need to d**
No one gives a damn about her feelings tbh. She has one job, taking care of a 2 year old kid. That's all. Not…
a) his job is cooking and cleaning bc he signed up to that as well as take care of the baby when they made their contract. why is it servitude when a man cooks but it's just normal when a woman does it? or is your vision colored by your xy chromosomes?
b) you freaks want her to torture herself and give her career, any romantic relationships, even the concept of going OUTSIDE without bringing that fuckass baby everywhere, if she has to exist without any identity for someone else's baby what is that if not a curse?
c) and you're a fucking MAN you fucking cunt. what would you know about motherhood? don't fucking talk to me calling me crazy
The best ending for me to be satisfied even after all this shit: ML with Wooju and FL with the red flag SML. I…
wanting a woman to end up in a toxic / abusive relationship just because she isn't reciprocating the feelings you want her to is mental btw. seek help. ofc you're a male as well like please stay the fuck away from women irl.

ml has his own job and leaves wooju with the neighbor or at daycare lol. have YOU been watching a different show? he's with wooju in the evenings for two or so hours, that's not being a butler, that's doing the job he signed up to do.
and motherhood isn't a prize, if anything it's a punishment. i'd love if ml took the baby and packed up! hyunjin can focus on her job and her own life then
she's been very caring towards the ml platonically,so i'm not sure what you mean by that. she's not in a relationship with ml, so she can date sml if she wants? like she should probably tell ml that she's not into him, but other than that idk what you mean. and if you think sml is a stalker, idk why you're faulting fl for going on one (1) date with him, wouldn't that mean the date was forced?
