I suspect one reason for the delay is because Joss and Gawin have been doing international fan meets for awhile. Once they're back, they'll be able to start doing promo events for OFDO.

I am just starting this drama and your review makes me think that the steep drop in episodes will be noticeable. Going from 36 to 23 would make for a lot of editing and perhaps choppy storylines.
