Thanks much for trying to explain this, but why not say this to him before the agreed date meet so that he's not embarrassed in front of the viewers by her no show? When you even like someone, you don't hurt them, no? She also could have said this to him in the car when they agreed to meet and have hagfish. He's actually mature for his age and would have understood. She even said she was ashamed to look Ji Seung in the eyes as she found herself liking Si Won.

i think yujin still has feelings for siwon and did it because he actually cared about siwon and felt like she…
But what is the right thing? She knew what the show was about, older women, younger men. Did she think she'd luck out like Jin Young and JWo with just a year diff? It doesn't work like that.

I enjoyed this one as well as season 1, and I no longer watch kdramas, movies etc, except old ones that I never tire of. Don't know why the ratings are not much higher, as this season was more interesting than s1.
1. Am really happy that JY decided to give Jin Woo a try and IMHO, he's a keeper and no player like Jung Won, which Ji Hye sees now when watching the reruns, she even said she wont' be able to keep him out of her sight. Good luck with that, JH and Jung Won.
2. Am also glad that Ju Hee said yes to Yun So, who never wavered in his attraction to her. It cracked me up when asked by Si Won why he liked her and he said, it's because she knew he liked her and still insisted in talking to the other guys. Reminded me of Coffee Prince, when Mr Hong told Han Kyul that he knew the ex was cheating on him, using his money but he found it funny and still liked her. I immediately thought of that scene when Yun So said that.
3. The person that I truly don't understand is Yu Jin and believe me I was happy for her and Si Won before any other couple!! How do you now explain that his age bothers you when you both talked about it and you said he even feels like your age. If you like someone, why wonder what is going to happen in the future when it has not happened yet?? I am confused by what she's saying so I can imagine how poor Si Won feels! She knew the show was about older women younger men, maybe she should have given them her top of the range and asked "Is there anyone who is 10+ years younger, if so, then count me OUT". She mentioned his seniors bringing much younger gfs to get togethers, how does she know that? Plus she said, she didn't want him to think of them as a couple yet but NO one who starts dating knows where it will end up, that is the exact point of dating. I don't know what she's scared about but with this thinking, she may never find anyone suitable and end of by herself just like she said when he asked her thoughts on marriage.
4. She also said if a guy had said he'd give her his kidney, like Yun So told Jun Hee that she'd choose him, Si Won immediately said that he would. So what is this about?? There's something fishy about her explanations.

I have watched both and actually many gender swap dramas, and still think she was the best at playing a guy. Actually the scene when they were first both wearing the black suits in the streets, IMHO, the PD messed up, b/c you can tell she was a girl then, the way she walked, and when they did a skip in the streets and the Rose of Sharon blooms were flying in the wind.

It was ok, it could've been better if the FL wasn't so masculine and childish, it was like the ML was trying to…
If you seriously thought YEH is masculine in this drama, then you should realize what a fantastic actress she is, she is actually very pretty, very feminine.. go watch Missing You and you will see how beautiful she is, or Lie to Me or just google her modeling photos. In fact, Gong Yoo was not impressed that she was chosen as Eun Chan because of this as she was an idol with only Goong under her belt, but he himself said after that he was so impressed with her and that she was the only person who could have played Eun Chan. She cut off all her hair to play Eun Chan!!!

Even though I haven't watched the show yet, I watched "My Dear Youth - Coffee Prince"... just for my love of Gong…
Yes, I have never forgotten this drama. When I see lists of the best, classic kdramas and don't see CP, I know the author is lacking, seriously. It's like Scarlet Heart Ryeo, it stays with you forever.

Good thing you asked! No, it isn't. I really don't understand why this is so celebrated. It starts really good.…
Please don't get offended, but all I can think of as a response to your not understanding WHY it is so celebrated, you did not watch the same drama that most of us who completely love and admire this drama for what it portrayed at that time as well as today watched...and so you didn't get the intent and lessons learned. As well as the excellent acting, music etc.

I watched this drama something like 8 years ago and really liked it already back then, but now I decided to rewatch…
so totally agree with all you say!! I think it's why it's my favorite drama of all asian dramas, and I have sadly watched hundreds of them. I have rewatched it at least 6 times, and it always feels fresh when I watch it. Made me a complete forever Yoon Eun Hye fan! The music was also fantastic!

Title Coffee Prince Spoiler
As you see in my comment above, I loved the show. Still, I need to say I was quite disappointed with the short…
I can somewhat agree although their chemistry was so out of this world that we could forgive the shortness at the end. I see so many dramas as if the last episode is so rushed and almost incomplete when they had all the time in the world to make them more 'perfect'.

I have a theory that by the time the general public finds out about a break-up, it's been a done deal for 6 months…
Have to disagree with you. a sham marriage for five years??? JA was devastated when BP cheated/dumped her.

Enjoyed the drama, the suspense, the acting by the mains and support. I watched because of ZLY and was not disappointed, she was very emotive when needed to be. I liked that there was no romance as well, showed a different side to her abilities. Def worth watching.
