Theres this soft melody going on at some scenes, mostly the flashbacks, that's just so lovely. My personal weatherman had a melody in its own too that just set the mood. I do just love JBLs. They're always a combo of slice of life and romance

They wouldn't be too far apart in age, might even only be one year. This was how it goes as for both boys and girls when I was in school. Some kids just grew way faster

If you look at it from the perspective of someone like Kai who has felt displaced his whole life, and just goes through the motions, you could see why the one connection he made has a kid would be important to him. Like you know how as adults, we tend to romanticize a lot of our memories from childhood. That's what I think is happening and also what Kai alludes to when he mentions his fear in meeting Hiro again because things have obviously changed and people do not remain the same.

You know what would be amazing, if we had a season 2 where Sumin is the main character and her journey to healing and self discovery. There's just something about her that is so pitiful and sad and I want her to find peace.. I know it won't happen but oh how I wish

The actress playing Sumin, Song Ha Yoon is so damn dynamic and she's easily the most interesting character despite her flaws. Love her!

The scene where little Jian is walking home from school in the rain made me so sad and I just started crying. Seeing her tiny body searching around to find her way when everyone around her has an umbrella and is calling for their mother is so heart wrenching. This little girl has sold me. She really incited the most protective instinct in me. I really just wanted her to be safe and happy at all times. Poor girl.

I have to say that I really dislike the characterization of Hyun Soo in this series. He just comes off as... pathetic for some reason. Very resigned and weak. I thought he might get character development in this second season but no such luck. I'll watch S3 but only for Eun-hyuk. Now his character is protagonist worthy
