Did someone watch the reality show/variety.. with Orca and Reese on a date? How come we got this? Is this supposed to our consolation gift.. could they not edit a proper episode rather and give this story :(
no .. so moral of the story is.. how does he look in real life vs tv screen.. does tv make people appear fatter…
ya ya.. say it.. but my guess would be 2fold - 1) Despite most of south asian countries being populated they are not rich and don't exactly have the culture of crazy spending as West (higher currency power, and spending culture) or SEA (again.. they have similar cultures and economic behavior).. the other reason.. ha ha.. i still think South Asia is seen as filthy, poor, and not sthg they'd value.... Same with Africa
But we will see what happens in next 10 years..
( However, with Korea.. see the way they started targeting US first and found success was through culinary experiences.. then dramas started to boom and kdrama - kfood kind of went hand in hand.. kpop took much more time.. almost a decade later...
And Korea is pushing their food in South Asian market fairly aggressively now... and these markets have also opened up to kcontent now.. so that's why i am fairly confident that they r focusing on SA market)
One market that has not exactly opened yet (or atleast tapped to full potential) is Middle East - Cash Rich, "Respectable" crowd... ME is leveraging SEA entertainment avenues to promote MEA Tourism though
PS: Saw your color remark. That's true. Like i said, SA still seen as filthy for multiple reasons.. and color is one of those

i think american content still has its base.. it is still the largest industry.. and that will stay as long as the western dream stays.. but even those guys have to diversify now because profits and margins r not what it used to be... so many people r migrating to the west..
What i thin is.. Philippines and Vietanemes market is trying to make a dent with BLs.. but they have the same problem with Thailand as any other asian music has with Korean Pop..
First mover advantage over a long period of time..
The other thing that is bound to happen and more quickly than anything else is capturing of South Asian market (not south east or ASEAN)... you can already see that with Korea (they didn't even want to acknowledge their kpop fans in South Asia but now are targeting these markets in a focused manner... TH has also started)..
Good times ahead i guess.. people should be challenged to bring quality content on screen
no .. so moral of the story is.. how does he look in real life vs tv screen.. does tv make people appear fatter…
true
however, i feel with the way entertainment market is growing.. with OTTs, global content platforms for asian content, competition has expanded across geographies and just making a drama, selling the rights isn't lucrative enough... SO, production houses are collaborating...
Everyone seems to be after the wider Asian market (even the West)... and in Asia itself.. we are seeing and will see a lot more collabs, cross geo penetration, and even audience acceptance of cross border content

They did.. but i didn't realize that tpop is anywhere near kpop in terms of audience awareness..
T-songs though are popular and again thanks to BL content (specifically GMMTV).. they have made existing T-pop songs and bands famous internationally e.g. tilly bird.. and their own OST / GMM music channel is doing great (now other agencies are trying to do the same)... so in terms of drama music they were already doing well..
But as a boy/girl band.. going head to head with Korean (because Kpop quality in terms of singing, dancing, performance is very high).. is going to be very interesting!
what is going on? I don't see HSF trend that much.. have they exploded? MSP had really exploded... is it both…
i dont think anyone has doubts on Ticket to Heaven.. more than GF, it is Aof factor.. he is literally GMMTV's best.. and it is his dramas that brought much of the international success..
so yea TTH is set in stone

i don't know who is a typical fangirl for you.. fangirling is fangirling.. it is not associated with always stalking to buying stuff or whatever
Thai is basically following Korea's idol culture but instead of music it is with BL content primarily... so good for them.. I expect them to cash on in it.. KinnPorsche showed them the way... they should go and conquer
GMMTV's Youtube strategy was such a game changer and gave them the 1st mover advantage and build this empire.. other agencies are trying but no where near (Domundi, Mandee, MeMindy, BOC .. no body has this group of artists who are bankable.. everyone else is working off 1/2/3 couples at max)

lol.. clearly.. all i figured was that the drama is doing well and couple is really appreicated.. i am just trying to understand how big is the blow up..
like i said.. Great Inn didn't blow up; only boo guys have 2 dramas but didn't blow up; MarcPoon got famous.. really famous but i won't say they blew up like GF or BW did.. so just trying to understand what is happening here with SN
Thatās crazy because I was already hooked by the first ep⦠matter of fact by the official trailer I was sold.…
i wonder.. i have watched the original.. so i don't think script is the problem.. let me try to finish ep 1.. and then see what happens by the end of it
For me, this series can be considered as 2 parts story. If you make it until the end of ep7, you'll get the whole…
i have watched the original Korean drama so script i am aware of.. i guess i am just looking into how many episodes so that one can get truly hooked and get into the story, characters..
Lol, these two are so oblivious to what's going on. I'm watching a recording of their Fandom Live appearance today…
what is going on? I don't see HSF trend that much.. have they exploded? MSP had really exploded... is it both in TH and International? (I think International maybe yes)
?

Or, in other words... Untamed phenomenon (but maybe not that iconic)
Pretty cool
And, with another series that Kong mentioned.. do you mean other than Wu? Who is Kong by the way.. and is Tha also the director of this show (HSF)?
so yea TTH is set in stone

technically Wandee also did well but i won't say Great-Inn blew up despite getting a heavy project in 2025 line up
GF blow up was quite close to BW (i would still say less.. but still crazy high blow up)
thanks for sharing though
