league of nobleman was not a BL to begin with.. neither was the source material.. so i don't understand when people keep comparing..

i am aware that feelings start later, but it would just be inappropriate no matter how they try to show it..

and it is not about romance... but even smaller things like period scene etc.. it won't work in a drama with such a mass target audience

lol.. smokers chew gum a lot.. this is their way of keeping smoking and hinting in the show.. they can't show and glamourize chain smoking in dramas like these that will affect youngsters..

more so in china

drama did change it.. novel, she got her 1st period.. so at best she was still in 7th or 8th..

here she is already in 11th.. i think drama wise it would have been weird to show ML - young child dynamics.. hence had to bring in the FL quickly and at a reasonable age

novel describes both him and ML as handsome.. infact the actual dialogue in the book is that he told FL that even his roommates are after him .. lol.. and this is what she quoted in the room..

But since BL and references are banned in China.. they chnged the dialogue

started the novel. completed chapt 10.. thsi is so cute.. even these initial years, you can sense how much she is the source of amusement and laughter in ML's life

do u remember which chapter does the romance from guy's side begin? .. as in actual pursuing

lets see.. i think FL's dad's brother still has a role to play somewhere.. they again showed him briefly in a very out of context setting

who says he never loved his son.. we were shown to the contrary, even dad is struggling to understand as to why he would hurt his son..

It doesn't make sense.. none of it does.. the narrative and flow doesn't make it any wow reveal or even a satisfactory reveal.. it is a cop out

You are stating very obvious things which anyone who watched the show grasps.. and these hypothesis existed early on..

The drama has nto done a good job of the reveal or even positioning the right character for a killer

yes and none of it makes sense.. i watched the episode so know what they showed.. but it just doesn't feel right.. that's why if this is the ending.. it is super blah!

i think the only missing piece is who killed the mom... or ML.. one of those is someone who is not ML's father..

aargh.. but still .. this ending was just so meh!
