and, i would also like to believe that he saved the woman and her child and pushed the car into the water with either some other decomposed/dead bodies.. or whatever.. but didn't actually committ the murder

So, i honestly thought that she is love interest of Lee rang. He hasn't met her yet in s2. Otherwise, difficult to explain why LR gave fox that face.
