couple of days back i raised the question of who is WYi - sum of all parts or more than that
Following is what drama has shown to us
1. EP23 - her prioritizing JL over anything, anyone. If you pay attention, her actions and emotions + motivations driving her actions mirror XW. She infact repeats the same words. And, it really is a same situation where she is willing to sacrifice anyone and everyone to save JL, her love ---> out an out XW's conduct
JY did take XW's parts/memories and gave it to WYi
2. EP23 - every single character has sacrificed years - their lives, their happiness... they have suffered and suffered too much with one shared goal of bringing peace to the world and a common good. But what does WYi does? - she is willing to ruin each of their's sacrifices as long as she gets what she wants! ... it is not out of goodness of her heart that she is sacrificing herself - she has tried all methods and willing to do whatever it takes to save JL...
Atleast, i don't see any instance where she is actually proactively thinking about saving people from the drought, or actively thinking about what about sacrifices others have made.. ETC
To me that mirrors a very interesting combination of a) moon clan b) and JY .. and i am still debating if there is a 3rd angle to it which could qualify as "person of her own"
3. All initial episodes - the way she talks, behaves.. mirrors WYan a lot. The seductiveness, the slow pace... and it seems it is a trait of moon clan
The character setup is really interesting and one wonders if it even matters having a fake personality as long as you look human
At the end of the day she sacrificed herself to save everyone, yet she's the one getting all the blamed? Isn't…
if you think this is about bringing her character down then i think your cerebral prowess is a big question mark and your superficial observations of characters is no fun for me to engage with

I am stating that JL is more important to her than her sister because that is what the episodes have shown me. JL literally voices it out.... it just reinforces the fact that you are not watching as a keen observer

because ep 22 clearly established and so did ep 23 preview that she is turning time for JL.. he literally says it.. that she is trying to save him and not her..
WYan dies - that part i am not confused about because Wyan dreamt it..
But WYI claiming that she is doing everything to save her or saving sis comes over saving JL - that's hogwash

the time travel in inn- she is doing it to save JL and she does not care that the world is damned because no way in hell JL died in greed of power.. 100% he died either to subdue JY or the drought..
So WYi is yet to show she cares about the greater good... and her character is anti thesis to it.. SHE WON'T
1. Everyone is willing to sacrifice for the greater good. For Dharma, for peace, to save the world
2. Only WYi is willing to sacrifice the world if it means saving her loved ones. Her moral compass is different. WHY?
JL will never prioritize WYi or himself or anyone else if it means sacrificing to kill JY 10th or 9th or any dragon lord won't either even WYan is willing to prioritize the right thing to do
sure all of them will try to save their loved ones..but the extreme north moral obligation is fixed

i am not really reading beyond your 1st statements because they themselves have been WRONG
we were at ep 22.. you are the one who is bringing information from future episodes and expecting everyone to work off your tangent..
