Okay here we go again. Little girl did something wrong lied because her mom told her and then every single life…
Yes. he has no right to forgive.
She asked shows her maturity.
Him thinking he deserves the right is his immaturity.
But again, what is your main rationale to say Khem HAS a right? 1st sentence - ok 2nd sentence - what is the logical connector between 1st half and 2nd half? My connector is that soul owes the responsibility and karma is linked to soul over body. I am really not clear what is your argument
the fact that khem is being punished and no one stepped in until the last moment, tells you evne God thinks he deserves the punishment (and more than R, it was K's acknowledgement that ended his cycle of pain... it was never a question of R tormenting him. He was paying for his own deeds)
I'm pretty sure Khem's mom already paid the karma compared to rampheung who went on a 400 yr rampage killing every…
What R would do if positions were reversed? then what would this lady do if her child were to be killed and she be framed for it.. actually, we do have an answer.. she even prioritized her servants over the 1 woman who trusted her blindly.
Sorry, i don't see your rationale or what are you basing difference / or for this debate's take a higher ground for khem's mom?
R's kid was killed; she was beaten; i can't think of anyone in this world to not choose revenge and go .. "Oh great, my child died, i have been killed and let me just go my own way" ( however, my personal take is based on what we have seen in the drama - reincarnation is not fixed time period thing. You don't just reborn the second you die. What makes you think that this baby did take a rebirth?? from everything this drama shows, it is clear that this timeline was designed in so many ways by powers beyond R)
anyway, reincarnated or not... R is hardly in the wrong
is about 2 dudes .. brothers, who went separate ways or a class divide came inbetween...but were still "together"
- the old man dying and his humpy - clearly , comments show FL and SFL - I recall BOY had a thing with the monk and the cold restaurant dude - i am sure Dashing youth has its share too
seem to be a lot of MXM rshps focused in this series
My take on the Mothers given what all i have been seeing -
Scene - when Khem's mom defended against R and people r hailing it as some huge moral difference. To me, it is not a commentary on moral highness because the lady in white does not have any...
But this whole journey has been about ACCOUNTABILITY ************************************ Lady in white is also greatly responsible for the tragedy.
She chose to not stand by what was right, expose the truth and be with the innocent. Instead, she chose to save herself and coaxed others to believe her and her assumptions about what is the "right" thing to do in that situation. She asked her daughter to lie about murder of R's son knowing very well that this will result in death penalty for R.
Yet, she DOES NOT APOLOGIZE to R in this scene or the lifetime. There is no moral superiority.
She is also a selfish mother(then & now)
Then, she chose to kill innocent R to save her people. Now, she prioritizes her selfishness (K's safety being her selfish desire/rather a mother's desire) over any moral standing. There is no right or wrong. Humans do choose desires over moral conduct if d desire simply is that important (uno reverse validates R's desire to seek revenge) but have to owe up to it
There really isn't much difference between the two mothers. For them their own kid is supreme and truth, honesty, kindness, respect for an innocent's life is all meaningless in front of their kid.
Main theme of the story overall seems to be that : Every action has a consequence & you cannot run away from accountability of that action (good or bad). No reason/excuse/rationale can ever "justify" an action. Accountability must be borne (goes back to the point that there may not be absolute good or absolute bad action...but just consequences and accountabilities and butterfly effects)
No reason will absolve you of the accountability. Karma always settles scores - boons or curses/ blessings or punishments, and Karma will settle it when the right time comes. Right time is when YOU are finally ready to owe up to your actions and take responsibility
Only difference bad is called bad is because we cannot and do not like to face any inconvenience, whereas it is very easy to enjoy blessings (joy is feeble but little pain also seems like eternity). HENCE, when your action begets good... one does not realize the wait time for it.. but when it begets a punishment then it hurts.. and leaves more of mark on the soul and on memories than good times ever do
In every drama, the actors must support each other. When the work is good, you don't give Jung So Min credit.…
It is probably just you and your blind fan love that just can't deal with opinions ,..
rofl...
Also, better luck next time quoting your selective reading and algorithmn driven reading as evidence on behalf of the world... comeon, you can do better than that
I ain't responsible for your insecurities... and inferiority complex..

@eriknewhere - What part is not understandable to you? I just explained it to you.. Khem is literally the same soul. He is a 21 yr old who has full understanding of all that transpired. He literally has no right to "forgive" Rampheung. He should be asking for forgiveness..
Just because people were being nice letting him decide what to do.. doesn't mean he didn't deserve his karmic payback.
Infact, if nature didn't think he deserved it then he would not have got it... but nature did think he deserved it.. and once he had paid enough he should be rescued (hence making sure he crosses path with Peem and is this naga's chosen lover across timelines, making sure Ram's son gets birthed in this cycle)
You don't have the mental capacity to understand complexities. Its ok.. you keep sucking your lollypop and enjoy with your dumb clique..
soothe each other and feel happy

dashing youth is about which character from blood river, and blood of youth is about which character from blood river
i am not the one claiming that i go searching insta reels to prove how awesome or bad she is..
:) .. you are really not good at sound logic arguments
i agree with you that plot is def. the bigger problem.. acting is not

USP of this drama and ONLY REASON this drama is good is becuase of ML-FL
If it werent for them, the show is a very mediocre script.. pulling in all the standard plot devices in the most obvious ways..
FL was spectacular in My Journey to You and her chemistry was Chef's kiss. Her chemistry in LITC is also awesome.
ML is really good- both Fangs of Fortune and this...
Both are filming new dramas currently - her a modern romance and him another period drama (phoneix sthg)
same transpired with untamed right..
book is fantastic, has a strong base... and production team genuinely did justice to bringing it to life..
they deserve this success and hopefully improve quality of other DMD projects
rofl...

the one who is claiming that right is a 21 yr old grown up boy who is aware of all the threads and karmas and the whole story... HE ABSOLUTELY CAN't..
in DMD i think FirstOne is the strongest actor and a good singer..
Keng is good at everything. Definitely way more edge than NP... it is just sthg about him as keng, as the personality... which differentiates him..
