That woman could be Chain's mother/ Chad's wife/someone (alternate theory can be that the woman who died was a sister and brothers wanted the whole wealth so killed her/some inheritance thing... and khem's dad was collateral damage)

This is where i am tempted to think that maybe Parn is not even Kajorn's daughter but was adopted by him and probably is the real owner of the estate. OR, chain is the son who has the rightful claim to money (but i still want to believe it is Parn)
