The non BLs that i have watched from GMM had nothing great about them.. so this budget conversation doesn't resonate.. maybe i didn't watch the right shows
To me GMM seems like a brand that knows it is going to make money from star power and fandoms and fuels that...so their focus is quite different
And yes, there is a director's vision too
HSF is a high quality show.. but ploys' yearbook or jungle were just so bad production wise

In this case, GMMTV knows what it is producing and where it wants to put money. Joss has already said in an interview that in this much money, GMMTV can only do this much... even actors are laughing at cringe CGI... but honestly it will become a tale in itself.. a fun element

Also, Joss is saving gawin... all the intrigue, fun and fan interaction really is steered by Joss... Gawin has on screen talent but offscreen engagement is a very important ballgame too.. and it is happening quite effortlessly with Joss.. without Gawin doing anything
