Bravo - good on u for saying what needs to be said. i unlike the other commenter in this feed Don't think ur comment…
from my comment, where do u gather that i watched this?!? i for sure read SugaVirus's comment (like i read other's) n agreed with every word they wrote - thus my reply. guess what i didn't do - get into other commenter's comments n try to ridicule or chastise them, cause i didn't agree with their POV, weird right?!?
idk if the description was misleading or i read too much into it. what i know is that the mains aint the grand romance it has been painted out to be. if anything almost every other side plot is much more interesting, realistic n relatable. the side plots were more empathetic IMHO the character's much more interesting n engaging.
leaving the mains "relationship" aside, this was beyond good. the writers have done an outstanding job writing great character's that went from strength to strength, they showed so much development n growth as this BL progressed. all character's were fleshed out, i wanted more of them - i wanted the plot to focus on them.
whether it was Heart & Ming, both angsty teens each with his own burdens coming together not only to rely n help each other. seeing their budding love n the growth they made, where they grew more grounded, knowing what they want n how to achieve said goals, was a better romance then the mains π€·ββοΈ heck their interaction n stories with their families n how that was dealt with, was a better story then the mains "romance". same with poor baby Gaipa (the relationship between mother n son was beyond wholesome n heartwarming to watch) he could've turned into such a tragic character, dude kept getting knocked down by life until the very end - which (thankfully) was positive - a new beginning with Alan.
another character that was done dirty (IMHO) turning him into a needy bf, that can't get over his lover, won't accept they over n is latching on, refusing to let go. when he wasn't at fault (getting mixed signals from ugh...)
anyway disregarding the mains (which still don't get why their story was written so badly, cause sorry but from my POV Wen was attracted to Jim - it was lust not love) this was really good. the acting was stellar, really was blown away more then once by the actor's n actresses here. maybe sound shocked cause they weren't the mains (not saying that Mix & Earth bad actor's) but other's (i mentioned above) truly shined - really loved this cause of them π
thought i was the only one. he was Very annoying or rather his character was - that mona lisa smile came off more smug n disingenuous or maybe just me π just know wasn't buying what he was selling π€¦ββοΈ
It's interesting to me the people who scream at others "don't watch if you can't handle it!" "leave if you don't…
Bravo - good on u for saying what needs to be said. i unlike the other commenter in this feed Don't think ur comment stemmed from "upset", just a strong (good) conscience!
i find it as disgusting as u, that this type of material is produced π€·ββοΈ, but sadly this not new and usually we don't get a very clear declaration(warning) of what (how) the relationship is gonna start. usually u get the "blink drunk sex"π "forced conversion" that is R. and that has been a plot-point in so many Thai drama's - yet people eating it up; cause the actor's r good-looking, got great chemistry etc... heck even abuse is scoffed at cause it's "love" π n usually i am the odd one out (at least here the description gives u a heads-up) with the ones i mentioned there is none of that, an u r blindsided while watching π€¦ββοΈ
so thank u for being a voice of reason, even if u r the odd one out β
It isn't that complicated. I dont understand why people dont admit that they didnt get something because they…
don't think me pointing out, that u needed to rant n vent, or the fact u rushed to judge, while not understanding/realizing that i didn't mean what u though, was that offensive, but ok - apology accepted n i am sorry if my reply offended u ππ
It isn't that complicated. I dont understand why people dont admit that they didnt get something because they…
what i mentioned (in my comment) were key points to what i saw that bugged me at the end of season 1. in my comment, did u see one question mark?!? (& for sure DIDN'T wonder for the reason behind anything) if there was, i would understand ur assumption, that i didn't get the plot, or was confused why Van wasn't as powerful as his "brother".
but when u say "...don't understand why people don't admit that they didnt get something..." i have a right to counter, that u r the one that isn't capable of getting/accepting someone else's POV, just cause they aint saying the same thing as u.
me pointing out that u seem angry, is cause of how aggressive ur comment came off - i aint paranoid and have no problem conversing with anyone, even if they disagree with me. but a person who choses to expresses themselves, the way u do, makes it clear, u r not looking to converse. just preach - that's why i wrote what i wrote (at the end of my response).
It isn't that complicated. I dont understand why people dont admit that they didnt get something because they…
considering u didn't Understand (want to understand) what i was wrote, yet ur still trying to explain something i NEVER said i didn't getπ€·ββοΈ but u so angry, that people have different opinions or have the audacity to dislike this. u rather rant n vent? okπ i guess.... u do u β
don't get the high rating - yeah to each their own, but the plot was all over the place! this had potential but it (this 1st season) ended up being meeh at best.
Not faulting the acting - it's all down to the whack plot (that made no sense at the end of the day). as mentioned previously (in the comment section of one of the ep's), didn't read the webtoon but doubt it's this chaotic. wish the screenwriter's consulted the author or read the webtoon (doesn't seem like they did either), this the result! seriously don't get the point of this drama. why not make a normal 16 (or even 12) ep's drama, not rush parts n ignore other's. guess they all along planned a 2nd season, so they constructed it this way (badlyπ€·ββοΈIMHO).
how ironic that was looking forward to this, even rewatched the 1st season, but this so disappointing, i just couldn't last more then 5 mins into the last ep. this a train wreck and i've had enough! will repeat what i wrote (in ep 9), this an abusive relationship!!
Seo Joon's the battered wife that got her bones broken, n now Ji Woo (the abuser) is contrite, back with "roses" in hand begging for forgiveness n understanding, telling his wife how he was insecure, scared, lashed out cause she was insensitive n inconsiderate... but he is big enough to forgive n say sorry if he treated her unjustly. cause deep down he really loves n wants her back, cause he can't live without her. n it's so ingrained in the abused partner that "they at fault" (cause this it taught from childhood), that this is "what they deserve". so at least they can take solace in the fact, that their partner loves them, so anything they do comes from love n they will forgive n forget (time n again no matter how hard they get hit or how much they suffer) this cycle of abuse isn't new or unheard of. the out come isn't new either... what is shocking (idk why, should be use to how fickle most viewer's rπ), reading all the comments cheering this type of 'ship' cause it's "realistic"π talk bad joke.π
Ji Woo is a disgusting douche that hurt Yoon Seul, explaining it away as unexperienced youth. yet he the injured part when he broke Yoon Seul's heart?!? he hurt Seo Joon cause his parents died? Seo Joon's parents abandoned him - no biggy, right?. it's not the fact that Ji Woo's a spineless nothing, the truth is that seeing Seo Joon's fame n success he got jealous as in comparison he felt like a nobody! that's why he loved treating Seo Joon like his servant in the 1st season. that made him smile - but no point saying anything more... cause u either see the absurdity of calling this a romance or a happy ending. this just sad! Yoon Seul deserves better, n i hope people like him (in real life) realize this fact, before it's too late β the acting is good n the abusive, toxic relationship is very realistic, but the ending is a parody of a healthy love
well a fitting ending if there ever was one. Win was right n that kiss was wrong, or rather them going behind Heart's back flirting n starting anything was Wrong! so personally am happy at how this ended, cause with all due respect to loving oneself or being true to ones own truth, it shouldn't come at the expense of hurting someone else(!) certainly not a good friend, that has been there for u through thick n thin. like i've been saying from the start, Win or Jaime should've stopped this farce before it even got started(!). cause bi, gay or whatever their sexual preference is, they had No right to drag a heartbroken innocent into this mess, just cause they were confused or not ready to face their own truth. n in Win's case the sec he realized he was attracted to Jamie, let alone getting seduced by him (where he couldn't help but get flattered n return his feelings) he should've taken a step back, just for the sake of his friendship (with Heart). the fact she (thankfully) didn't fall for Jamie, was not for the lack of trying on his part. but cause she wasn't ready to jump into a new 'ship' so soon after her break-up.
Jamie's realizing he in-love with Win - falls flat for me, maybe it's his personality to flirt with the world, but then u can't fault me when i can't suddenly buy that now he just gonna focus on one person. there was no really sincerity to his character / actions (we got almost no backstory, so we get more info about him and why he is the way he is). actions speak louder then words, n his actions were to seduce anything with a pulse. so if u a romantic at heart u will by his confession at the end - as a pessimist, i don't β
i would have loved this series if they wouldnt make this weird situation that jaime was supposed to love the girl,…
thank you - was sure i was the only one that had a problem with this romance set-up. from the start (even before Jamie was introduced to Heart) i was like stop here - u want Win why even keep up the farce. but nah this was dragged out till the end. thankfully Heart didn't fall hard n the mains didn't end up together. like u said (in ur other comment), this was a fitting ending considering how this plot developed.
have to say this was wholesome and good π yeah know am the odd one out, as per usual π but this was a great finale to a good BL. yeah it wasn't perfect. the plot wasn't perfect, but considering some of the BL's i've watched, this was just right. it's a comedy (a fact most have forgotten) and we had a mix off all types of people, ages etc and the goofiness of it all worked - they were fun n funny and this last ep was a chef's kiss π
loved that we didn't get a forced shoving together of every guy, just cause every single dude needed to be paired upπ€·ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
the mains confession was wholesome, endearing n heartfelt - true! no need for hot kisses, when u got pure heart, and this was that n then some - really enjoyed this, know am repeating myself. but after Between Us, let alone having zero expectation's regarding this, am pleasantly surprised. loved every character, even the side character's and would happily watch more of this; spinoffs, sequels, whatever... just more of the same plz n thank you π for sure a rewatch π€
just finished binging on this drama, didn't find it boring - BUT(!) this could've been good considering we get to see not only a deaf person's POV. but how hearing people sometimes unwittingly can hurt people with disabilities. we even got the POV of a person that lost his hearing and how he dealt with that - or retreated out of fear and anger. even got to see that a person with handicap could out of self preservation hurt those around them, pushing them away before they got rejected.
It Would've Been Perfect if the conclusion - was different, were u show Sou not only accepting his fate, but learning to live with it and making peace with his past life, not running away from people just cause "...it hurt's..." (cause they still retain something he lost).
what u get is only others accommodating and catering to his handicap and feelings. which while commendable, them treating him with kid-gloves, always being the ones to be considerate, never even accepting a thing in return (for him to try too). this isn't growth or a reason to applaud this drama. the only one who matured in this was Nana, which is something better then nothing. but main plot wise, more a miss then a hit. in general the writing was good and gave a true portrayal of life, and yet the conclusion was a bit to "u sacrifice ur all for love" b.s for me - this wasn't healthy or an indicator of a good foundation for any type of future IMHO cause any hurdle pops-up Sou will be out the door, cause it too hard to face or handle ugh no thank u
it's wasting 20 min's of ur time - can only say, it started off great but then amounted to nothing - and left me confused. i wouldn't watch it again, but i don't regret watching it. so up to u π€·ββοΈ
this was supposed to be a drama - but guess it didn't get past the censor's and thus we get this mini-movie that focuses on the main plot-points, without much time to flesh out the 'ship' between the mains, as this adapted from a BL. personally (even though there was a ton of info tossed at us), didn't enjoy this or like the mains. cause (maybe just me) there wasn't enough time for anything to build - let alone for the character's to grow on u and u start to like them, even if u don't like things they do/have done. not to mention i questioned almost everything and am left with more questions, then answers. that i feel, if we would've gotten more, as in a regular length movie, a whole drama - there wouldn't be a need to down-size everything that didn't seem irrelevant to the producer's. but for sure would give u a better pic as to the; why, what and how, to get whatever was going on π€·ββοΈ let alone it all make sense.
so watching this, little wonder the only one i cared for was the dog, that got abandoned and never reunited with his master. now that scene moved me more the anything else happening with the mains (other then the sister's "story" which was depressingly sad). but everything was too rushed for me to actually say i enjoyed this. oh well at least this short, so didn't waste too much time, and that's the only plusβ
guess what i didn't do - get into other commenter's comments n try to ridicule or chastise them, cause i didn't agree with their POV, weird right?!?

Mi Ho wasn't awakened. Van weaker then the main bad-guy n is getting weaker the more he around Mi Ho. n if that wasn't enough seeing the army Goong Tan assembled, i donno how the mains gonna survive. Johan the useless "bodyguard" for sure not gonna come in handy (but never understood why Johan the Priest was needed or could/would/should handle Korean demons, the fact he Korean is neither here nor there). if he was a Buddhist Priest would get it, this lacks logic π«π bummer....
but as everyone's rating this high, so guess i'm the odd one out - oh well - was hyped to watch this seeing the 2nd seasons airing, now just feel underwhelmedπ©β
