Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Episode 2

the only good person to date is the Warlord that adopted & named Hwal. but Hwal wasn't really bad (bad father yes, bad person - NO). so it's sad that they always keep going out of their way for people that don't deserve it.*****************************************************************************************************************************************Det. Ham lied from the sec he came to inform the Warlord of how his daughter & grandson died - but he was jealous of Hwal so not shocking, he turned out to be an utter douche- he for sure didn't deserve to live after what he did. like the people in the village (that were happily sacrificing kids) didn't deserve to be treated with kid-gloves by Hwal (when they tried to ambush the soldiers). *****************************************************************************************************************************************but i am confused; what the (female) Bulgasal told Hwal before she died - it made it seem like he started off her curse (as in he started of the reincarnation by infecting her & dying by her hand) even though as i yet don't get how her stabbing him, without infecting him in any way turned him (⊙_⊙;) & her "stealing his soul" sorry but didn't that Shaman tell everyone that the baby - Hwal was born without a soul???? that's why the Bulgasal was after him????? WTF ************************************************************also don't get the plot-line regarding the twins - the bus-driver/past monster sniffed out the twin without the scar (who didn't have prior knowledge of their past incarnation) & then Hwal goes & murders the mother & the twin that has the scar, but not the other twin???? & sorry if he was human, i would accept that he thought she was dead, as a monster he can detect whether she is alive or dead - no?!? *****************************************************************************************************************************************& the ending - why this moron go back to that place when she's living in hiding & doesn't know how to kill the Bulgasal. u need to be a psychic to see that it's an open invitation to the monster that's after u?!?? stupid move \(〇_o)/(ノへ ̄、)

OMG i didn't think at the start of this ep i would get this angry - that poor boy did nothing wrong - idk why his mother turned nutty & went on about the baby in her womb... but then when the people in that village started to die - how that connected to him?!? he hasn't lived in that village - no one offered him even a bit of compassion, so they for sure didn't invite him to their huts. he's living like an animals literally fending for himself, but the sec sh*t goes wrong in the village, he is the main culprit - what backward logic \(〇_o)/(ノへ ̄、) & sadder still that same boy more or less treats his son the same way his father treated him. *****************************************************************************************************************************************on a whole this was very interesting but that ending confused me, the OG Bulgasal spares him when he was a kid, but then doesn't just off his family she even stabs him - which turns him - what?!? i don't get this logic - like when we talking the OG vampire's he gotta bite his prey & not finish them off or not exchange blood for them to turn. here he the only one she hasn't psychically touched & he changes - how this work. *********************************************************************************& i get wanting revenge cause she murdered his family - BUT why he have to bring his wife & son along on such a dangerous mission?!? he need there when he got rid of the Bulgasal?!? really??? why??? this plot doesn't make sense to me ***************************************************************************************************************************************side note: i really needed someone to chop-off that Shaman's head when she started screeching. there not good coming out of that mouth only curses - she like a bad omen

this was a good drama with good actors, plot was intriguing but i have to say, idk.... but i feel a bit bummed out by the end. genuinely don't know why - maybe - just maybe in-spite of the "happy ending" all of the main character's r all alone. after everything they had been together one would hope/think that they would become an organic family of sorts.... but as this has ended it doesn't matter as on a whole, i enjoyed myself. it wasn't (isn't) scary at all IMO - yeah there a few creepy moments - but on a whole this mild horror at best. *****************************************************************************************************************************************also read that there was romance in this ep - guess i missed it, cause i didn't see a moment where anyone made cow-eyes at another character & i am the one going on about how Lee Hong Sae has (suppressed) feelings for Ku San Young \(〇_o)/but i don't think this drama needed romance. there was more then enough going on, so it didn't matter to me one way or the other.

in-spite of everything in this ep, i still think the most evil individual is the grandmother - well her & the shaman. yes, what Hyang Yi did was f*cked-up, but she the typical angst teenager that hates her younger siblings & her parents. wants freedom to focus only on herself & wants what she wants. **************************************************************************tell me this aint true for most of us (at least when we where teens - maybe the phase was over in a blink for most, but everyone went though this phase). add to this the knowledge that ur gonna get starved to death - who will happily sacrifice themselves?!? **********************************************************************************************************************************yeah she could've thought of different ways to getting out of the situation - but given the time-period & her circumstances, let alone the opportunity the fell into her hands - i think most of us might do what she did. not a nice - heck even evil thing, but would u sacrifice ur life for ur family? everyone loves to say "yes", but when push comes to shove, u don't really don't know how u will react - u would love to think u made of better stuff. but life has a way to show u there nothing u can be 100% certain off - not even about ur own self \(〇_o)/*******************************************************************************************************************************************************what i am wondering, if the girls father & brother died at sea - who received Lee Mok Dan's body when she was "found" (as am sure i remember that it was her father who put her in that pot & tied her on a branch, no?!?) & if Lee Mok Dan was never the target, why was her pinky chopped off?!? & if the Shaman was counting on making Hyang Yi the vengeful spirit (or however it is called) how could she predict that she would come for her sister. or was that all planned, & the father & brother's supposed death was to push her to come get her sister - but how could one be sure she would do that & not decide she would take that money & just live happily without the burden of family... (⊙_⊙)?***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note: idk why the focus at the end was at the shadow looking normal, cause when Ku San Young found out Lee Mok Dan's name, also there were scenes where her shadow wasn't crazy haired - so why does it signify anything different now idk

that grandmother is a piece of work. i get being so greedy u go down this evil path & do whatever it takes to get what u want. for money, people r ready to sell their soul, so what r a couple of poor girls souls to them?!? & once u start down this path - once u cross the threshold, why would u balk when it comes to ur (abusive) husband or even ur son?!??? BUT(!) her grandson?!? & now she crazy rich, doesn't exactly have decade's to live... but she still rather her grandson die & not her??? **********************************************************************************************************************************but on the other hand, even if it is one more day, i guess life is better then death - even the life she is living. ironic that the girls that were sacrificed r called the "evil spirt" when the only evil i see is Na Byung Hee (Hae Sang's grandmother).*****************************************************************************************************************************************idk how this gonna get resolved (as we only got 2 more eps left) just hope it aint a rushed mess, cause until now this has been really really good

sad ep - just got mentioning how Yeom Hae Sang really only had the Detective & we had to lose him... bummer - from the start i want them to work together - create a united front & solve this mystery together - but everyone keeps finding ways why to go off on their own - frustrating (⊙_⊙;)******************************************************************************************************************************************btw if (by reading some of the comments & the hints in the eps) Mok Dan wasn't a 2nd child, so the "sacrifice" didn't work - am guessing that afterwards they went after the OG 2nd daughter from the same(?) family. if so, why was Mok Dan even brought to the gathering (where the shaman was supposed to choose the candidate for the sacrifice?!?) stupid move on the families part, no?!? cause now they had to give up not 1 but 2 children - they hate their kids so much?? as am pretty sure, they didn't get additional compensation...

i hope Yeom Hae Sang comes in the nick of time to save the Detective & succeeds this time around.*****************************************************************************************************************************************am wondering why suddenly Ku San Young's father after over a decade decoded it was time to exorcise the spirits that he had "courted".. cause the only reason he got "offed" was cause he was trying to get ride of them \(〇_o)/*****************************************************************************************************************************************that old woman from the village is a piece of work, i thought with ages comes wisdom ( ˘︹˘ ) not the case with her, holding a grudge against something that was trying to save the lives of everyone in that village. & if she so wants to be with her daughter what is stopping her?!? seriously she & Yeom Hae Sang's grand mother what crap pieces of work ...*****************************************************************************************************************************************side note: i donno about anyone else, but the sec i found out that the way the evil spirit gets at u, was by knocking at ur door - u wouldn't get me to open a door for all the money in the world. so whenever i saw Yeom Hae Sang nonchalantly opening doors to whomever came knocking (especially after what happened with his mother, & especially when Ku San Young was on the other side ) i was like "duh (ノへ ̄、)... WTF dude༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ" - like he got a death wish or something (⊙_⊙;)

well damn... like from the 1st & 2nd eps i already knew how the poor girl "died", heck even Ku San Young found out (while doing research) what happened to her, after she disappeared. but i guess it's different to actually envisioning it & feeling what that girl went though in those last moments of her life... so i get her taking out her fear, sorrow & anger on Yeom Hae Sang - even though he wasn't at fault. ******************************************************************************************************************************************what i don't get is why Ku San Young's father wanted to create a juvenile ghost - why?!? also was this before he met/married Ku San Young's mother?!? *************************************************************************************************************cause i get that after getting rejected by Yeom Hae Sang's grandmother, he searched out Yeom Hae Sang's mother & stole the head-piece after she set it on fire. that's how he got possessed & why he told his wife that their 2nd child needs to die. ******************************************************************************************************************************************feel really sad for Yeom Hae Sang, from the start of this he has done nothing wrong & has only been trying to help everyone he has encountered. so am kinda glad he has Detective Seo Moon Choon, at least one constant in his life.

6th ep & i am so confused, usually by this point i know what's what & whos who - yet here almost every assumption i came to, turned out wrong 🤦♀️ that for sure makes this riveting, but also very frustrating (⊙_⊙;) *******************************************really hope we start to get answers soon & it isn't all gonna drop on us in the last ep. ******************************************************************************************************************************************Yeom Hae Sang's grandmother is a cold b*tch... considering he was her only living heir/family one would think she would treat him better. but it's starting to look like both families (Yeom Hae Sang's & Ku San Young's) r connected to each other & that ghost girl - how idk******************************************************************************************************************************************now wonder is the conclusions i came to in this ep will be canceled out in the next ep ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

i wouldn't want to be Ku San Young the ghost possessing her it totally messing up her life & messing with her head to boot. scary *****************************************************************************************************************************************felt sad for the lady at the start, i get she was so focused on her daughter she didn't care for anything else, but the sec Yeom Hae Sang informed her that her actions would be the death of everyone in the village she shouldn't stopped. *****************************************************************************************************************************************also i was wrong & Ku San Young was not connected to the OG village where the poor girl was turned into a vengeful spirt. so why has she latched onto Ku San Young?!? why make her father bequeath the possessed hair-piece?!? why involve Yeom Hae Sang??? ******************************************************************************************************************************does she only go after people that were decedents of the OG village??? or just cause they got possessed she is making use of them & their progeny??? - half way through this & still soooo many questions *****************************************************************************************************************************************also was that the little girls finger? if so how did Yeom Hae Sang have it, let alone why did Ku San Young's father dig it up & then burry it at the site where he murdered his mother-in-law??? so many questions \(〇_o)/(ノへ ̄、)

really love when in these type of dramas, a bunch of people come together. so no matter how scary sh*t might get, they built a strong front against whatever.. here even though both Yeom Hae Sang, Ku San Young & Detective Seo Moon Choon, Lee Hong Sae r researching the same case - they have yet to come together. which i kind find frustrating (know we still at the start, so there still time for that to happen), but this really bugging me...*****************************************************************************************************************************************also ironically, guessing the "inheritance" Ku San Young's father left her is connected to her mother?!? through her mothers ancestry in that place??? maybe they the progeny of the shaman?!? so the ghost is out for revenge -& would've come after them sooner or later.... so many questions*****************************************************************************************************************************************side note: read a few comments about how bad the FL's acting is, or how clumsy she is. IMO i think she is doing fine - no over acting or anything. heck everyone here brought their A game - really enjoying this

Lee Hong Sae acting that mean towards Ku San Young, is cause he likes her?!? cause the way he keeps looking at her from the start, it's as if he notices her - as in attraction. but maybe cause she never gave him the time of day, he built up a wall to show he doesn't care. but he really does & it comes off, like an utter douche..... no?!? ******************************************************************************************************************************************the dude that put on the purple coat & high - HIGH heels, was too comfortable in that get-up - lol... get needing a disguise, but being able to get around on heels on unpaved roads, speaks of yrs of experiences balancing on the balls of ur foot... all i can say is bravo ******************************************************************************************************************************************side note: when Yeom Hae Sang as a kid opened the door to the ghost, why she spare him & target his mother?!? usually where Ku San Young is concerned she targets everyone around her, even goes so far as to avenge people who try & hurt her. how come this flip?!? ************************************************************************************************************************************& if it was Yeom Hae Sang's mother was trying to travel to a place where the ghost couldn't get too.. then why she leave Yeom Hae Sang alive!??
Was this review helpful to you?
so was wrong & the grandmother wasn't trying to awaken anything in Ku San Young & her dad genuinely left that for her?!? am so confused -like why, considering everything he knew (1st hand) why would he do that to his daughter?!? or was it after he got possessed, so the ghost was the one who did that, so she could have someone new to possess?!??? *****************************************************************************************************************************************so many questions...******************************************************************************************************************************************but have to say, kinda finding it hard to gloss over the child abused in this. *******************************************************************************************************************************************side note: idk why but i thought Lee Hong Sae would be a nerdy goofy side-kick. he Not, if anything he kinda "interesting" lol (*≧︶≦))( ̄▽ ̄* )ゞ

the start is a bit of a mess, so hope everything will start to get clearer as this progresses. *****************************************************************************************************************************************the "grandmother" giving her granddaughter the hair piece, was like passing over whatever her son had - his "gift". either it's their families burden to deal with the occult or idk.... but it for sure didn't look like her "son" took his own life. so her wanting to pass on something possessed to her granddaughter (after what happened to her son) is not something any grandparent would do to their grand child - considering the burden, let alone the danger it puts her in.*****************************************************************************************************************************************KuSaYoung arguing with her mother is understandable, cause her mother kept her in the dark about why she separated from her husband - let alone why he kept away from them in-spite of caring from them. if she was forewarned she would know not to touch, let alone take anything from that house. the sec she touched the hair piece she was f*cked \(〇_o)/... ****************************************************************************************************************************************but i still don't get why the father (who had decades of knowledge about ghosts) would suddenly decide it's good to open a door that is being banged on - let alone take off the trapping guarding the door (he could open the door without removing that white rope he took off - no (⊙_⊙)?

Jung Seok is fast turning into a detestable character. what i don't get is why he's sticking his nose in his sons business??? he wants his son to work in the family business (banking), he knows hide nor hair about "dramaland" but he still doing his best to make his sons like miserable - like WTF - why?!? let ur son fail or succeed on his own, he not 10 or 15. if it doesn't work out, he wont have any other choice but to give up & do what u want - but he just wont quit & it is starting to really annoy me. he should go work in the restaurant he bought (& gave Dae Han) (╬▔皿▔)╯ dude bored out of his mind & searching for ways to mess with his sons life ugh...*****************************************************************************************************************************************& sorry but i can't stand Mae Ri's bff's nor Moo Kyul's band members - they keep putting their foot in it. why that moronic drummer have to spill the beans?!? 3 guys don't have the balls to stand up to 1 woman. tell her to shove it & get out of there? they sitting passively & letting her interrogate them, why? so what if she used to date Moo Kyul. they owe her what exactly??? but on the same vain Moo Kyul doesn't owe her sh*t either, why he sorry towards her? why he need to inform her who he's dating?? ug!!!*****************************************************************************************************************************************& that end was oof! i get Mae Ri is the passive all giving, all forgiving moron, but isn't it time to stand-up to both the fathers & tell them 'they at fault for forcing her into marriage' (heck in her fathers case SELLING her into one?!?). why stand there passively, pleading they leave a sick Moo Kyul alone???? why not put a stop to the whole farce??? why take the freakin blame, OMG this martyr act doing my head in.*****************************************************************************************************************************************side note: Jung In a way better (one sided) kisser lol & ironic that Mae Ri got her 1st & 2nd kisses stolen by guys she doesn't really love (well she didn't when they took the kisses).
