I also don't like them too. The only way i'm managing through the weekdays with 1 ep is thanks to my busy schedule, I get to watch new released eps whenever I reach home. That's the problem with these limitations, rush endings are bound to happen but yeah like you, i'm still hoping they give this a better and justifiable ending. A season 2 for POJ would be so good! I hope production can reconsider but it will depend on novel too.

This type of scheduling in c-dramas are now a norm ever since they cut down the limit to max of 40 episodes per drama compared to old days 60 eps and 2 eps per day consistently. There's 5 eps left so we'd definitely get express package within this week. For iQiyi, they usually release express package when there are only 4 remaining episodes left.

It's clearly your choice if you want to watch the leaks or watch through official platforms since we all have different circumstances. No one is forcing, but out of respect and consideration for everyone who want to enjoy this drama, those who watched the leak episodes should put their comments under spoiler tag or avoid commenting here at all as it ruins things for others who want to support this drama. It's a decent drama but not my most fave of his works. I have a love-hate relationship with it due to the amount of screentime the annoying 2nd ml got but that's just me. You should try and you might enjoy it. If you liked his character here as Xie Zheng, then you might also like Xie Wei in Story of Kunning Palace.
