i didnt get both gyesa year incidents? and the whole thing about left minister like the reason why they have to be very wary of him. ofc i know hes a high rank person in society for them but it didnt feel like they gave us a real reason for that beside the fact that hes dangerous. i like both the fl and the ml also the main plot of the drama too so i dont wanna drop it but i couldnt figure out these things. feel free to enlighten me if it gets resolved in next episodes or if ive missed out on something by the way, i would appreciate it

2.5 episodes in but it feels like theres many holes in the storyline... hope this gets fixed in the later episodes tho i dont wanna drop it at all

this is easily one of best dramas of this year in terms of quality of all production aspects imo. im so glad han got to experience his first solo ost with a drama like this too lol updraft is really good

the story flows way faster in webtoons and they focus on panels rather than paying more attention to the side stories (most of the side characters dont get to shine or have solo scenes too much) which is very normal bc its supposed to be something easy to read while focusing on visuality way more. everyone might not like it this way and thats on them tbh considering how some people are not used to this like im used to? but still i dont think theres much to worry about and like i said before this is just my opinion and yours might differ.

if i recall it right there was a part where ML apologised to the FL for the fact that he agreed to have a cooking competition in the first place bc the Ming envoy decided to give ridiculous points to the Joseon team and she got hurt in the process as well. i do understand your point of view for pointing out. but was it horrible? definitely no for me as someone who reads webtoons with similar plots. and yeah if the main plot is something unrealistic, things like this (such as unnecessary events like cooking competition) bounds to happen. depends on what you expect in a drama too i guess

tbh i dont think these are big details for the plot that effect how the story flows and considering the fact that they disguised their roles in order to hide their identities from the craftman i do get the point of them going on foot. and i think this point counts for the bodyguards part too bc general public doesnt know how the king looks like, but was it dangerous for him? yes. i do understand your point of view too but such details like this didnt bug me

i had to take a break from keeping up with this drama weekly and got to watch the end of it just now but what's up with the comments? i dont get why people got too mad with the plot not being realistic lol. given the main plot being FL going back in time to Joseon as a chef idk how some people imagined it to be realistic to be honest. it was a good watch for me tho this is just my opinion

seriously the envoy's reactions were really top tier!! i agree with the backlash thing and i liked how they tried to keep imaginary scenes almost equal as well 💚

other things aside loveeeed the way they had showed imaginary moments after they ate the food made by Ming's cooks too just like they did with Joseon's. they couldve not though, in order to show how good Yeon Jiyeong's cooking is but they kept it real like they should
