back in 2019ish, youku did release a special international version for the untamed with some extra scenes, i hope they do it again for us 🙏

hi is the novel worth reading? (I don't really want to read it for the world building/plot but for whenzhou)
Hmm, personally I skipped through the novel after the drama came out because it was too slowburn. Priest is known for her intricate world building and the novel is mostly plot focused. However, there are definitely more wenzhou scenes that make skimming through it worth it imo. Hope that helps!
