I've started to get cheng yi fans complaining about my comments - dearest, I am watching the drama because I want to and this is a free space to share our opinions. I do not care for yall fan wars, for ratings or for charts, I just want to watch and comment as I do with any other drama. if you disagree with my opinion and want to have a healthy discussion, I'm all in, I love to discuss plots. but if you just can't accept criticism for this drama because your fav is in it, don't even try to be funny on me, I won't hold back next time.

btw, again about cheng yi's dubbing, when he has to scream, it often feels like he is holding back because he is in a room, so it makes the emotion less believable

finished ep 7 - story is becoming engaging, but everything else still pretty weird and not up to a high budge:
- cheng yi's voice acting feels misplaced and awkward in many moments, specially in comic scenes and when he seems to want to sound more childish, like a brat
- cgi is so poor
- fight scenes directing are a mess, very confusing, with the weirdest editing, and the angles are so bad you can tell they are not hitting each other for real (((having the immortal ascension top-notch battles fresh in my mind also doesn't help
- the directing is really bad actually. soooo many awkward scenes that are definitely the director's decision
- the actor they chose to play the villain is not at all convincing, his looks and acting reminds me a lot of huang junjie
