Not sure I understand the purpose of the special episode. There was no plot at all. I was expecting what happened to the couple afterwards - important events.

Aran's father is the bad guy in the series. However kudos to the actor, who portrayed the character perfectly. For some reason, he reminds me of the bad guy in the movie The Mask (of Jim Carey).
