As to novel you are so right. Ya I think like you about Tofu being Nueng .As Tofu he may think and say his real thought and not relate to his father want and believe and not to the status of star/idol .Maybe he loved Tarn before but as can 't do what he want he gave up for his friend..

Let start and say series end can be different from novel. Yes Tarn gave the the bear to Nut while he was all right Tofu got who is when Nut cry on him. Tarn was alive Nueng we don't know. Tofu woke up some hours after Tarn enter coma.. got Nueng face(if he was full Tarn copy he would get Tarn face (identical twins exist so getting Tarn face would be the right thing.) So both Tarn and Tofu can exist. Now another theory what if Nueng love Nut secretly and ask Tarn to give the bear to nut. when bear become human he got Nueng face ,so when Tarn wake he will get back memories of and became full Nueng with more courage (has no what to lose..). Then we have 3 option for ending Tarn- Nut, Tofu/Nueng-Nut , Tarn-Tofu/Nueng. So what we have to wait to see how series end.
