I don't think this will affect Tarn he doesn't have to die for Tofu continue be human as he is not Tarn he is himself. When Tofu become human was wen comet fall..

I finishes ep 9 a hour ago. it was very and gave more explanation every episode assure me Tofu here to stay as human he will not be disappear ..his resemble both to Tarn and Nueng is not coincidence it has purpose merging 2 people to one for Nut Tofu is his man.

As for Tofu and the mysterious magic of the house objects, I really don't understand it. Why are some objects going to sleep now? Can Tofu still be affected since he's human? The answer to this is no. He is afraid of course but his target is healing and it is only can accomplish if he will be for Nut the love of his life. Many said Nut was nothing for Nueng .. bur as story fold we discover thing , when Song ask father about the the acting father say it is acting you are not gay are you may sum things may be this was stop Nueng to admit he care for Nut and Tarn could enter in the gap for a while .. Na know now she should choose Saen, and she should tell her how much she love him, Prib all the time fall for gay guys she should find someone who is not.. and stop chasing Nuts.I think Song's father at last understand his son in the end of this episode there is hint. No matter what will happen to Tarn Tofu and Nut are endgame. Tofu go the right now he love being human he will not be able to return to be teddy bear.. Nut will not need one as long Tofu beside him..

Saen attacker identify the one from the accident which put Tarn in coma so it is his aunt deed. Who is the guy in the pic in Tarn house? Nut , Nueng ? What were the relation between Tarn and Nut? Is Nueng was in the closet? from the graduation day while all other went to their girls while Nueng didn't? I thinks those are clues to what really was going on
