i really don't understand people saying this is hilarious, did we watch the same movie? can someone tell me where exactly the funny part is??? the dad f*cking the daughter? the dad killing a woman and r*ping her corpse? the son beating the shit out of the mom? the mom doing heroin and prostituting herself to pay for it? i could keep going but really, wtf did i just watch.
it's not like i was expecting a normal movie, and i love bizarre/f*cked-up films, but this is just not it–purely trying to shock you with its depravity but no plot at all, just disgusting fetishes put together without an ounce of story. this is worse than the human centipede and a serbian film together; at least they tried to tell you something. visitor q is pointless garbage.
this one's been sitting in my plan to watch since forever, and going by the comments i wasn't exactly excited to watch it, but sometimes the comments say "first part of the show = good, second part of the show = bad" and it's not really like that, so i said let's give it a try, it can't be that bad, right? this was definitely camp. i love that it doesn't take itself seriously and knows that it's ridiculous. you have to give it time tho, it slowly grows on you but when it does, it's hilarious!!

well honestly, i already gave it a chance by watching it, and i'm def not watching it again. since it's not as difficult to understand as you suggest it is, it's not necessary to put that much effort into getting the commentary in the first watch (if it was harder for you, it's okay tho, some people have to look for movies' "ending explained," no shame in that).
still, the commentary is overshadowed since the movie relied heavily on shock factor (not just the double incest, but it's obvious since the start when they show the mc eating a live octopus just for the thrill of it). and really, how good can a movie actually be if it needs to constantly go to extremes to keep the audience entertained?
if you liked the film, it's perfectly fine, but i stand by my comment; it's not all that, and the "plot twist" was predictable and disgusting. the commentary alone can't possibly justify the hype; if it wasn't for the p*rn addict film bros, this movie would've NEVER received that much acclaim, and you know it.
