So, I just started episode 6 and I have decided it is the assistant. He is just too controlling and weird.

No Doctor would expect the person with brain damage to turn back into the person he was before. That is never going to happen. And that is telling the patient they are not good enough as they are.
I really liked episodes 1 thru 4 but 5 and 6 just didn't work for me.
