I know this has a wuxia tag, but does the FL fight as well?
This drama is actually Xianxia. For some weird unknown reason MDL does not have/allow a Xianxia category in the "Genres", so they end up picking Wuxia as the Genre and Xianxia under the "Tag" section.
Now, one could argue that Wuxia came first and Xianxia evolved from wuxia. So you could say Xianxia is really a fantasy expansion of wuxia. But they should really in my opinion be treated as separate genres.
It doesn't have the LGBT+ tag on mine that other people are seeing
Well, the good news is that enough number of us are seeing the LGBTQ+ tag on Netflix, so that is a hopeful sign that this is indeed a BL and not a show that is going to be Queerbaiting.
Here is the actual synopsis on the Netflix page for this drama ...
After a tragedy, Ryu flees Japan and is saved by Korean boxer Johan in a foreign land. As their wounded souls draw closer, their fates cruelly intertwine.
Official synopsis ,it's bl you all After unintentionally destroying the life of his best friend, Ryu leaves everything…
I don't know who provided that "official" synopsis or where you fished that out from and are claiming it to be official. This is what is actually on Netflix in the description for this drama ...
"After a tragedy, Ryu flees Japan and is saved by Korean boxer Johan in a foreign land. As their wounded souls draw closer, their fates cruelly intertwine."
It says nothing about two people falling in love or being lovers.
