The Untamed has a ambiguous ending. We do not know if Wei Wuxian saw Lan Wangji? Or if it was all in his imagination. They did not show us LWJ when Wei Wuxian turned around. It was ambiguous and open to interpretation, happy or sad whichever way anyone chooses to interpret.
