We say what's true but you seem to have problems because we are pointing flaws in your favourite character.
"What's true" has become whatever all of you agree on. Everything you say is not true. A lot of it is just personal opinion that has been amplified by all the like-minded people in this comment section.
I'm curious. I don't see how HE is the toxic one, enlighten me.
"Whereas Dosan is a very problematic character and yet he's shown almost zero growth as a character."
Yet another generalization about Dosan saying he's showed zero growth. The reason you're able to say this on here is because there is a lot of people that agree since this comment section is a bubble of Jipyeong enthusiasts.
I would argue Dosan has showed the most growth over the course of the show and come into his own more than any other character. He went from being too timid to stand up for himself to owning up to the lies that he's been spun in and resorting to honesty over deception. A lot of Dosan fans would say this, in fact. So there's two sides to every situation and to make this kind of generalization is what's wrong with this comment section, because you can say whatever you want and have people agreeing and shut down anyone who tries to say otherwise.
I'm curious. I don't see how HE is the toxic one, enlighten me.
I'm not really sure what parallels you're trying to draw here, but if you're referring to Jipyeong coming and telling them to cancel the deal last minute and how they should have listened so that they weren't let go, think of it this way.
Jipyeong has spent the entire time belittling Samsan Tech and responding negatively to all of their ideas up to this point. So when he comes in last minute belittling this idea as well, it's kind of like the boy who cried wolf. They didn't believe him because he's been doing this the entire time they've been at Sandbox.
He should have been there earlier instead of throwing a fit and staying away when they needed him the most. That way he could have talked Dalmi through what the deal meant, since he has only talked respectfully to her up to this point, not the rest of Samsan Tech.
Agree about the most toxic comment section on mdl, but don't fall for the provocation) HJP/KSH fans live in their…
I haven’t been on here for a week but wow it’s gotten so much worse than it was before the levels they go to to attack the show and characters because their favorite isn’t getting everything they want him to.
Go ahead and write your Pro Dosan post, no one is going to attack you for it. They may argue the other side, but…
No offense to you at all but this comment is one of the main reasons I won't be posting my Jipyeong thoughts on here. I never in my comment mentioned about me writing about Dosan. I wanted to write about the flaws I see in Jipyeong's character and bring to attention things a lot of people here have swept under the rug about him since the majority of this comment section loves him.
I never said I was going to write about Dosan or how he is perfect, because he's not. But you resorting to sarcasm about it and not actually acknowledging what I wanted to post about is kind of a condescending tone that you've been able to take because like I said the majority of this site will agree with you.
I'm curious. I don't see how HE is the toxic one, enlighten me.
I'm sorry but this comment is proving my point exactly.
"He was harsh but he was never wrong." He called a sick day on the day he was supposed to show up for the panel because of how wrong he was when it came to Samsan Tech. His ego was wounded because of being wrong and he stayed home the day that they needed him the most.
I'm a huge Dosan fan but even I realize his faults. The problem with this comment section is that to a lot of you (not all of you but a lot), spend so much time justifying Jipyeong's faults like this.
I'm curious. I don't see how HE is the toxic one, enlighten me.
That’s the problem. There is no enlightening this comment section as you have all found ways to personally justify his actions.
One example is how rude Jipyeong was to Samson Tech, telling them there was no chance at success. You all have managed to justify his behavior to the three as brutal honesty, when in fact it wasn’t. They succeeded. It was just him being cold and cruel. And because a lot of you don’t like Dosan and his friends, everything Jipyeong does that hurts them can be justified to you. I have a lot of examples of behaviors that Jipyeong shows that line up with the cold, harsh male characters of early ‘00 dramas, but I can’t share them without you guys either attempting to justify them or bringing up Dosan and his faults.
I really want to write a post about how toxic of a character Jipyeong is and how surprised I am at how many fans he has and the reasons I think he does. You know, the posts you guys write about Dosan all day. But I can’t on here because to most of you everything he does is justified since you just see posts supporting him all day long on here and can talk badly about Dosan all you want. You’ve really created a scary echo chamber in this comment section.
Buisness talks are only upto 4-5 ep after that you will see nothing but a toxic obsessive and voilent lover haha
You do realize MDL is just a small part of the fandom right? There are a lot of people who love Dosan. You need to go to other outlets because it seems like you’re becoming a little bit deluded only hearing your side day in and day out.
You do know that NDS only wanted SDM as CEO because he liked her right? So your blaming HJP for the same thing…
Except I don't think that Dosan's dislike of Jipyeong is unfair. Jipyeong dislikes Dosan and Dosan dislikes Jipyeong. They don't like each other because they like the same girl. But for me, Dosan's dislike seems more justified since Jipyeong pushes boundaries like asking to stay at Dalmi's house when just Dosan was invited. Dude, that's his girl not yours haha!
To the two or three other NDS fans out there. OneAhjussi has just threatened me over his love for NDS. I've since…
I think OneAhjussi is just a troll. He seems to be obsessed every time you post haha! Don't worry too much about him. The harassing goes both ways on this forum though. I have seen some pretty cruel Jipyeong and Dosan stans.
You do know that NDS only wanted SDM as CEO because he liked her right? So your blaming HJP for the same thing…
I think the problem that you have is saying that Jipyeong has grown from his flaws and Dosan has not.
Dosan has grown so much from his flaws. Lying to Dalmi constantly broke him down and made him feel guilty and upset. So he decided he was done with lies and encourages Dalmi to be honest in their presentation. There's a lot of ways that Dosan has grown as the drama progresses. He has gained a lot of confidence and stands up for himself more because Dalmi has given him a lot of confidence.
It's unfair to say that Jipyeong has grown from his flaws and Dosan is not. I think both have grown in different ways as the show has progressed.

But the thing about this drama is that even if Dosan does unhealthy things, Jipyeong does unhealthy things too. Constantly telling Samsan Tech they will go nowhere and will fail is not constructive criticism, it is pushing that point. Not telling Dalmi about the letters and stringing up lies was more cowardice than anything in my opinion. There's a lot that is toxic about Jipyeong as a character. So, yes Dosan has problems, but Jipyeong has a lot as well. No one is perfect and that's life. You're never going to find the perfect person. Everyone has problems.
Damn, people really hate NDS on here. The main reason I prefer hims w SDM is because of their chemistry and relationship.…
Oh wow! I agree with everything in this! You put your thoughts together so nice! I think Dosan is one of my favorite characters in a drama in a very long time, so I appreciate you standing up for him on here!
I really like it when he started punching and fighting with HJP, then after he gets beaten, he ask HJP for help.…
I think so too! For me, it shows that he understands how much help Jipyeong can be even if he doesn't like him. It takes a lot of strength to ask for help from someone you don't get along with.
And ignores HJP right? For HJP fans that was the worst scene.
Basically this whole comment section is stuff about Jipyeong. You can comment on all of those posts. Not everything is about you guys. Dosan has fans, too!
lmao no one said his perfect what are you even reading??? literally half the comments about HJP are saying he's…
I think he just gets very frustrated around Jipyeong since Jipyeong pushes his buttons when he is the one dating Dosan, not Jipyeong. He gets defensive and to me, it feels relatable even if he makes mistakes like lashing out at Jipyeong and punching him.
