I loved the ending to episode 5. I hope with this, Nabi realizes her relationships don't define her and that it's perfectly okay not to be in one, but I wish she gives Yang Do Hyuk's kind of love a chance whenever she's ready. And to Ji Wan, I hope she too realizes before it is too late that love takes many forms; it doesn't need to conform; it's up to the individual to choose how they wish to express it because no form of love is wrong, so long as it is love.
I loved today's episode; it gave me Dexter vibes. I cannot understand why some parents or adults abuse children; I doubt I ever will. However, I love that this season focuses and raises awareness and the impact and the irreversible damage bullying, abuse, and neglect cause. Park Eun Soo out in the field suits her. I wasn't sure how I would feel about it, but I liked seeing her with the team. It felt natural. I wonder if she joined the field to be closer to Dae Shik; if it is, I like it even more. I didn't expect Circus Man to reveal himself to Kwon Joo already. Lee Kyu Hyung is a superb actor.
Goodness, it's so true when they say corruption fears righteous the most. I know I think and say this every episode, but Han Se Kwon, oh my Han Se Kwon; he's not just a weasel, but corrupt, unscrupulous, irresponsible, shameless, and weak. But more than him, how Ja Yeong acts now that she knows; is what matters most. Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act as they say. Nothing beats this drama.
I like that this drama brings another side to how it's okay not to be okay until it's not and how dangerous it can get when those who are not okay do not get the help they need before they reach their breaking point.
