In China, they canβt do more than 40 episodes unless they divide it into Part 1 and Part 2.
I couldn't remember when the rule started... wasn't sure if this was already filmed and had more than 40 episodes and had to be cut before the release.
So many holes. I was rooting for this one. If YF has this supernatural connection to CZ, how does he not know…
I think he has the connection when she wears the necklace. After he puts her to sleep, he is wearing the necklace back on his wrist again like when CZ1 gave it to him. But it's crazy for him to not check in on her somehow (even through someone else going) for 3 years. Sure, he's working on that spell but they also showed him moping around throwing out the heart poison medicine. He had time to at least send someone to check.
Well, we should all be now caught up to episode 26 of this long-drawn-out drama....First of all, LYF to be a sage…
LOL at the string necklace... it's like the pop it bead necklaces I had as a kid.
All those men suck! They just sit around drinking and lamenting that they aren't the ones in her heart.
I knew that zhen girl was up to no good, glad they confirmed it. I just wonder if they will continue to be friends now that CZ knows everything??
Mu Yu... his magic weapon is the umbrella *insert Mary Poppins joke* which we saw in a quick battle when Chu Bu Fu turned into Wan Jie. I noticed that when he helped CZ2 when she slipped and twisted her ankle, he was covering her with a similar umbrella in the rain.
I think he is having lots of internal conflict with himself and struggling to choose between what he wants to…
Yes! There was one episode in particular where the scene abruptly cut from LYF telling CZ she should be resting and it immediately went to a daylight scene of her practicing with her magic weapon. I thought something had happened with my playback. Lol
I have to share my observations so far, and a little rant (?) I love drama, actors, everything its just that I…
I think he is having lots of internal conflict with himself and struggling to choose between what he wants to do vs the right thing to do/his immortal responsibilities. Every once in awhile, you see him saying/doing things that obviously reflect his feelings but he just seems unable to come through 100% likely because of who he is and what he is supposed to stand for. This is probably where a novel is able to explain his internal thoughts vs what we are shown on the screen. I do think he is realizing more and more that the leaders of the immortal sects are scumbags and hypocrites.
I haven't watched the new 2 episodes yet, so maybe my thoughts will change. π
I didn't like the opening credits song at first, but now I've heard the first few opening notes enough times that it has grown on me! I really like the ending credits song. I found the album on Spotify and it has the bgm, too. I really like the tune in the scene where Wen Zi is making shadow birds with her hands when she first arrives to Nanhua.
You are really naughty DWπI was kind of confused with the master running over to see CZ2. But, in defend, I…
I like that the hairpin broke, symbolizing their relationship when she said she was leaving the peak. And Yunji picked it up and placed it on the table. She knew what was going on. But then later on, Chong Zi got the hair pin (now I'm forgetting who actually gave it to her) and the person told her about the stone it was made from. But once again, LYF doesn't tell her his feelings directly. π
They get married before the final battle. So we will only find out the true ending after the battle. The novel…
The picture of the airing schedule looks like it shows both a demon world wedding (it has black/purple banner) and also a "normal" one later on (traditional red banner). I don't know how it all plays out yet but I'm intrigued lol

I am rooting for him to give up the sect. All of them. They all have jerks in them. What good have they done for him?? They use him to do things or fight battles they aren't strong enough for. And if he truly has Chong Zi in his heart, then he should be unable to remain with those jerk Immortals.
I'm hoping the end is good and not rushed like they often are. π
