im currently watching Midnight Studio. So while waiting for the next eps to air I'm watching dramas with similar plot. will watch this one after binge watching sell your haunted house for 2 nights.

the plot is amazing. it's just that this drama could've been done in only 12 episodes. but nonetheless it's really good.

By watching the behind the scenes on weibo, I think they followed 70% of the novel. The masks, the academy, her weapon (a whip), pretending to be a married couple, liu buwang arc, and the sword fight between the two leads. I hope the moon and candy scene (i forgot if it's a candy xiao jue gave to he yan during her past life) will be followed too. And He Yan's friends in the army!!

I don't just casually watch dramas with the same artist consecutively because I always have a 'hangover' of any artist's previous characters. I think Zhou Ye and Lin Yi is an exception. They're so pretty. 🤧
