I can't believe this is on Disney... The ending of ep 2 was way too brutal. Also, this really does not bode well for Lomon's character. As soon as he did that, it means his character is not gonna end well. That's unredeemable regardless of the victim's sins. Basically he's become a bully himself. He's no different from the perpetrators.
This was pretty good. I didn't find the middle boring as I watched the whole thing in one go. I also watched the documentary on Disney+ recently so I knew pretty much what went on and what to expect. All in all it didn't disappoint. I wanted to see the human side of the story in this and it does show that.
OMG! Wang He Di is super cute!!! Especially in the soul swapping scenes. Unfortunately she's not. She can just play cute and that's it. Utterly not convincing at all. He overshadows her in everything.
Also prime comedy moments from Xu Kai as a bank employee!!!!!

It is now my 4rth rewatch. It full of sugar and beauty. Exactly what I'm looking for in an escape.
