I get what you mean. It'd be nice if LS could sit on the throne. However, when DO said, she'd like to go far away, it's like foreshadowing that they'd travel together and him being king would prevent them from doing that. I agree with giving everyone a happy and closed ending. I'd be satisfied with any ending as long as there are no deaths, tbh.

I have thought of that too, since Lee Seol doesn't seem to have a concrete plan after he gets the throne. Personally, I'd like LG to become the king because he has good intentions and is already a scholar.

Hoong Jo needs to have a happy ending after all that she went through. Shi Yeol deserves his freedom too. Hoping the writers don't give us a sad ending.
