Are you serious? It's not about whether people want the actress to be successful or not. Sorry, the world doesn't revolve around Jisoo. The issue is about how problematic the PLOT is and the inaccuracies. I'm sure Jisoo is acting fine, but that's not the issue at all. People are missing the point

no, the government shouldn't shut it down. we don't want the government censoring anything. JTBC or Disney should have said they aren't going forward with it. But I think the response from Korean viewers, along with the brands, will probably lead them to cancel the drama. It's not getting good reception from those in Korea

Do you really think the Blue House is going to take it down? That's called being authoritarian..... that is NOT what people want. But people DO have a right to talk about why they are boycotting it or why this drama is problematic. Are you Korean yourself and have personal connections to what happened in Korea during the 1980s? The drama has EVERYTHING to do with these events. It's very clear....

I'm a bit worried as well. I mean, I think that's why it took so long for it to air because they had to make changes. If it ends up being a pro-government drama and downplays how terrible the Korean govt was during the 80s, I'll be disappointed. I think I'll watch the first two episodes to see the direction it goes in

Watched this on the plane a few years back and I had no idea what to expect. Sat there bawling at the end. The acting is amazing

I just spent the past two days in NYC and happened to stumble across this show. If you’re a fan of Jung Hae In, this is a MUST. Seeing him being himself was a joy. I appreciated his curiosity and love for the simple things while he was exploring NYC. I also admired how good he was to his friends. The ending had me tearing up. Grateful for this show!! Also, it’ll have you laughing esp near the end

I'm interested in the drama but I'm curious - does it drag out? IT's 32 episodes... Not what I normally watch! I have a hard time even with the standard 16.

He deserves a leading role. He's so cute!

This is one of my faves, scandals aside. The show did a great job of showing reconciliation and trust between people. That scene of Ijun with his parents had me BAWLING. I thought the ending was beautiful and not too nicely wrapped up.
Maybe the lessons learned from the drama can translate to real life.
