same story but beautifully told. all love stories are basically same, it is the way of telling them what makes them extra ordinary. This is the good example of this fact. The choice of actors is not appropriate as the description doesnt match with their appearance but both are good actors, no doubt in that. Only one scene where they both touch their lips for one second, this is not enough to feel their passion, but overall series os watchable and good.
Interesting concept but poor execution. lots of kisses and sex under blanket could not save this because there was nothing there story wise. I could not connect with the characters so skipped many scenes after episode 5.
no real kiss, one fake hidden kiss, two brotherly hugs, but still, it is very fulfilling series. I could not skip even a single dialogue. All characters are nice. very good acting, direction, cinematography, editing, writing, music. both the leads are very handsome and talented. must watch romance.
Great series. there were tears in my eyes by watching the passion and love between the leads. I really wanted to see another episode or special episode at least, to see their happy life again. Very good acting, direction, screenplay, casting, music, cinematography, everything is great in this series. even the child artist could able to bring pain and sadness in just a few shots. I am happy I could experiance this piece of art.
"Plus i was confused about the sequence of the story starting ep 6 when it seems everything is jumbled" I suspect they changed the director or editor midway. Everything was rushed and choppy after the re-marriage of poppy's dad. August was good in the character of Hero but Mac plus his character was just average. It was almost one sided love till episode 8. There was not a single real kiss and they were shown directly waking up half naked in the morning in episode 6. what happened to all the story built till episode 5? when they started dating as a real couple? when did they decided to become a couple? what was the hurry to skip those king of details? I felt like a skipped an episode between 5 and 6. In a BL, generally I dont care about the second couple. In this series also, I find them irrelevant. I watched the show only for August.
Everything is great in this series except writing of character of Vee. He is self-centered thief who doesn't correct himself even after marrying the person he claims he loves and who loves back him whole heartedly. I love all the characters. Daou playing San is great actor who can represent his love, sorrow, pain perfectly with his face. His body is sexy and has great voice. The series lost its charm after 4-5 episodes. I felt they changed the director or writer after 4-5 episodes. The story could represent key moments more dramatically like when Vee sees San in pain first time, knows about his age and his waiting for 100 years etc. but these moments were either lost in hurriedness or in comedy. it could be an example of legend BLs but is will be forgotten soon.
the series is very nice but I watched it mainly due to Karan Wongkarun. Achi's character is too plain. He is a taker who rarely do anything for Karan while Karan do everything he could for his love. Achi is just watching his efforts and making surprised faces almost in the entire series, even after accepting love for Karan. This is not a comment on actors acting skills. may be he was told to do so by director but it is very annoying to see those expressions in romantic or serious scenes.
The first and last episode is best of this series. rest is just plain and boring. I wish they could make fewer and more focused episodes of this story.
Good series which could become best with Different leads. I have this series 7.5 as I had to skip some boring scenes. All the actors gave their best performances. All the characters are likable except Day. He was just way too much self centered queen. Night and Earth could have portyey the role much better. mark portraid the character of Night perfectly.
I liked it. I smiled and cried with the characters. All the characters are good. But it is a little slow paced. I watched the series with 1.10x speed by VLC player but could not notice any difference. The first few episodes are confusing as they have scenes from different points of time. The last episode was full of joy. The second last episode was full of tears. I think the phone call scene from the movie theater could be teary and more passionate. The last scene with old man from DVD store was a surprise but little cliché and confusing. There are many unexplained points like how one of the friends remembers everything but these points don't affect the main story too much. The actors playing the leads are not typical BL actors. They are real. I think one of the adult friends is the most handsome among them all. The rating given here is misleading as the whole series has only two kisses on the lips only, no open mouth. And there is no nudity or sex scene at all.
nice series but the last two episodes are too rushed. I think they cut short the number of episodes and tried to complete the story in the last 2 episodes.
Boss is hot but I could not understand how the other Jun is center of attraction of everybody and how he became Idol, how he became intern after Idol? Kissing scenes are good but character development needs improvement. Child actors were good and all characters are likable but they should have focus on romance, not on meetings. But I understand, almost all Korean BL have this problem. Romance is secondary in most of their BL series. They don't show the growth of passion or romance, it feels romance is just mechanical for those characters. They say 'I like you' like it is a burden on their chest they want to lift off.
