at first i thought the first episode was so sad because i cried a lot, and then there was episode 6 i was like ok it can't get sadder, and then i cried again in episode 9 and said i'm not crying again... and now i just finished episode 13, when i tell you i've never in my life cried like that over a drama 😭😭😭😭 i was SOBBING, my eyes are literally swollen, it felt too personal in a way that i can't even explain.. i'm pretty sure the only daughters in their family will understand

imo the BEST casting they did in this drama ( young vs old version of the characters ) is Yeong Ran (the local leader's wife) !!!! she looks exactly like the young version if you tell me they waited for the girl 50 years to grow up and film her scene i would believe you 😭

I haven't caught up with the recent episodes yet but so far they didn't explain or hint to this at all, they only said the curse hurts them/ k*lls them, didn't mention that it also attracts them so idk
